Happy Digimon Day, Indeed. · 10:48pm Aug 1st, 2023
Okay, so as 90's kids who are old enough already know, the Digimon Movie that released in 2000 was originally three completely separate films, which Fox Kids heavily edited and crammed together into one very discombobulated story.
Well, on Sunday, it was announced that Sound Cadence Studios is not only releasing the subs on Bluray, but has also brought back the entire English cast (save for re-casting those who have since passed away), and has re-dubbed all three films, uncut.
Also, for those of us who enjoy the guilty pleasure, they are also including the original dub version that Fox Kids released, and this is the important part, without that absolutely horrendous Angela Anaconda short at the beginning.
So Digimon Adventure fans are getting every single version of these films on a single bluray disc sometime in the near future. That is fucking awesome.
Happy 24th anniversary, Digimon Adventure!
Holy shit that is awesome news!
Shit i feel old seeing this but kinda still nice to see this beloved franchise still hot after 24 years.
That's awesome!
Wow, that's amazing! Would've never expected an uncut dub from Digimon!

I still maintain that Digimon Tamers was dubbed as well as it was because Fox Kids knew they were headed for the chopping block and they just didn't care about the censors anymore.
Some really egregious stuff got cut (whenever a gun was aimed at a kid), but on the other hand, you had things like Takato imagining Guilmon getting blown away by a SWAT team.
I may not be a big digimon fan but I do think the first 4 seasons, including this movie and the other ones they made were great.
Words cannot express how happy this makes me.
What's with the Korean Poster? You Korean-American or something? (Just curious.)

I just searched for the poster art for Digimon: Our War Game.
Hoooooly crap. I loved that movie. I would listen to the soundtrack CD constantly on my purple player.
