"Sensation" Hardcover Pre-Orders - Second Print Run · 3:55pm Jul 19th, 2023
Hi, all!
So... I've had a very strange day. Apparently someone donated a copy of "Sensation" to a free public library, and someone on Tiktok found it. To be super clear: this was irresponsible of the person who donated the book, and they shouldn't have done it. "Sensation" contains adult content, which is why I made everyone certify they were 18+ before they bought it. I wish it wouldn't have happened, but here we are.
All that said, I'm still proud of my queer, sex-positive little horse story about overcoming childhood trauma. A few people were hunting down the old order form from 2018, and since I was planning on doing another print run for Ciderfest this year anyway, let's just make it official:
"Sensation" will have a second print run, available this November.

Just Fyi because it was very vague from the tiktok, she clarified in a comment that this is a cafe and this is the little community library there, if that makes it any better.
I agree that this probably shouldn’t have happened, but I still find that hilarious.
I feel like it's quite likely that the person who donated it was not the person who bought it. Us pony book collectors tend to hoard that stuff like gold - I have to imagine it was found by someone else (family member, partner, whatever) who didn't like it or didn't understand it (and either way didn't see the purpose of keeping it around), especially not understanding its mature nature, and deigned to get rid of it.
So many new book opportunities lately. Tryna keep money tight for the book nook at EFNW, but might just have to pick this one up. There aren't nearly enough good quality M/M or Braeburn stories on this site, so I'm definitely hungry for more of both.

Yeah, that seems likely. It makes me sad to think the person wanted the book but couldn't keep it. I hope they're doing okay.
I agree that we need more m/m and Braeburn stories. I hope you can get this one but you're right that there are a lot of books out there. Like being a kid in a candy store.
Saw that pic you commissioned on Derpi and decided to check in. That's really unfortunate and I agree it must have been done by someone who saw ponies and didn't think anything of it. Hope you're doing well!
