The Advocate: Progress Update · 1:26am June 23rd
Just to relieve anyone who still is keeping an eye out; I am working hard on The Advocate!
I have been trying to get away from the practice of tossing out a few chapters, vanishing for a month, then repeat. So I am presently building up a backlog.
The good news is, that backlog is almost long enough that I'm ready to start releasing again, on a set schedule, right through to the end of the book!
The bad news is, it could be a few days, to two weeks, before I can begin the release cadence, depending on a few factors.
Hopefully that strikes you all as good news. And here, have a picture of my horse's baby sister from this year's foaling (sadly going to a different home, but close by):

The problem with doing a story like this with a backlog is that comments lose a lot of merit.

I'd rather get some momentum up on my end, and have some padding so that if I have some inconsistent weeks down the road, we're not looking at another month or more gap to wait for chapters. I'd rather front-load the waiting a little more.

I am glad to hear another chapter is on the way. I was getting worried! This is because I really, really look forward to more of The Advocate. I care about your story, I am strongly invested in it. Your art has touched me, and I value it.
