    Well, color me impressed.

All 78 episodes on 2 discs, the translation is just as solid as the Hulu version, the subtitles are on by default, and they even translated the mid-episode character cards.

Well, because there was no TYT this week...

Here's an absolutely adorable tutorial on how to hug your pony from doubleWbrothers.

So I've been busy away from ponies... Again...

With my quest/race to get a Rainbow S on all of Freedom Planet 2's stages, my creativity lit up like a bonfire again, and I started crafting an alternate ending of sorts for the past week.

That story is now complete, and posted in its entirety over on AO3.

I'm filing this under "Personal Greatest Gaming Achievements Ever".

I seriously hope this video looks as impressive as it felt.

Pointers for those unfamiliar with Freedom Planet 2:

So long Reddit, and thanks for the memories. · 2:35pm Jun 10th, 2023

Well, after a hysterically bad AMA with the CEO of Reddit where he doubled down on blatant, libelous lies he has made about a third-party developer, it is now crystal clear that Reddit is not the slightest bit interested in working with third-party apps.

Every single one is shutting down on June 30th, before the API changes take effect in July, so they won't get billed millions of dollars in August.

This is of course more than a little bittersweet. I've been on Reddit for nine years. I've debated, laughed, fought, and engaged in quite a few fandoms. An old reddit thread even helped me troubleshoot a crippling problem with my gaming PC.

But it's important to see the bright side of this as well.

Worthless "journalism" sites will have to do more than just copy-paste reddit threads and comments.

The moderators of r/Halo might actually have to get out of their parents' basement and do something slightly productive with their time.

Two-bit webcam sluts will get even less traffic when they spam links to their OnlyFans.

Or, if the numbers are correct and third-party apps make up only 5% of the userbase, then maybe it'll just be the old guard that gets pissed and weens themselves off of that website.

Me? It'll certainly change my phone use.

For now, I'm gonna keep writing. I'm on a roll; three chapters in three days. And none of those have been a day off.

Not likely, just a bunch of veteran users who refuse to use the first party app.

Got another aggregate media site to go to? We're all looking for a decent competitor.

I thought about it, but this is something that could be parodied SO much better in G5.

Oh dang that's suck 😕

This drama has been absolutely hilarious to watch the CEO response are classic corporate out of touch with reality just pushing this agenda because it looks good on a spreadsheet someone made up number for.
I do feel bad for the devs that do all this work just for the rug to be yanked out from under them.
I'm really interested to see how bad things get once all the mod tools die I have already noticed an uptick in things breaking.

Yeah, power-tripping mods aside, I didn't even think about how moderation is going to take a shit as well.

So I don't use Reddit. I have other internet vices. But if I did, there might be a joke in here somewhere along the lines of "Wow, so this is what grass feels like!"

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how anyone would ever think that was a good response. Seriously, did he think the site's users are idiots or something?

Honestly, I downloaded the app on my iPad and iPhone a few months go (don't have an account on Reddit) to look at threads on WallStreetBets. I never personally had a desire to make an account on Reddit to comment on stuff, but wow. Hard to admit Reddit is going to become one with history on the 30th of this month.

That's insane.

5732678
Oh whew, I hope so! I would miss the Reddit stories, memes, and fandom subreddits!

Don't mistake my words, I'm not sticking around either, the first-party app is absolute dogshit.

I just don't think it's going to die as quickly as we want it to.

5732735
The first party app is not that bad if all you like to do is doom scroll.

Social media is just going to get more and more of a cluster fuck with the way it's being run anymore.

Latest is that they could be violating GDPR laws by undeleting deleted posts.
