Chapter 07 To Be Published Tomorrow!

I’ve had incredible difficulty with creating my own art after suffering some medical issues these past few months. So, I had to cut a lot of corners and attempted to use Ai to assist. It could only get me so far with what I wanted, and I was able to edit what it generated to produce this version. The original generated art can be seen here:

Okay I have to ask but where did you find or did you make that artwork?

In the past, I've either drawn and colored, or commissioned artwork from artist for my first story. For the second arc of my story, my plan was to solely create the art for it. However, with my health issues affecting my mental and physical abilities, that's become rather difficult.

So, on Discord, and possibly other places, this is Ai software readily available that can generate art for you when given prompts. The Ai I used was PurpleSmart.Ai on the Discord server of the same name.

However, the software is far from perfect. It has plenty of limitations and doesn't always understand specific instructions. For the picture I shared above, I had to add in more glow around his right eye, fangs, the purple plates on the back, the stripes on his side, give him a forth leg (because his rear right leg was missing), do some color correction, and adjust the horn, as well as some other clean up.

I would say I've always been a better editor than an illustrator, but that's just how it is. So, I didn't fully create the art as much as I did provide the prompts that generated the original and then proceeded to make additions and edits to it.
