Midnight Rising launches tonight; C&C on deck · 5:02pm Mar 1st, 2023
Hey, folks. Just a quick note (okay, not-so-quick) to let everyone know that the next chapter of Midnight Rising launches this evening, following one more editing pass. Prereader response is generally good so far, though I’m still waiting on two at this point. And I’m already 8000 words into my next writing assignment, which is a new chapter of Feathered Hearts - Continuation and Chronicles.
As has been stated before, the upcoming C&C chapter will be M-rated, with not one but two major scenes. They will be bookends around a very serious and occasionally suspenseful central section involving the long-awaited confrontation between Gilda and Tribune Cipio. So there will be a T-rated chapter release accompanying the M-rated one.
But lest folks think that it’s all about sex in the bookends, you’re going to learn some very interesting things about the Changelings, and especially the escort that Gilda and Marco met at the end of the last chapter. That includes some information about their ranks, capabilities and general outlook, and demonstrate one sure way to offend their Queen. The opening scene will, of course, be Marco/Gilda, though I can’t resist throwing a little unexpected temptation for both in as well. The closing scene will be the Queen meting out what might be termed some ironic revenge to make a very sensual but still important point.
I expect this will be off to prereaders in under a week, and I’ll try to post something with a teaser later once it’s more complete. After that will be a promised chapter of Eros, and after that... I will finally be restarting work on the second entry of my long-languishing X-rated anthro novel series after several years away.
It doesn’t mean I will stop work on my other stuff, but it will slow down considerably, at least for a few months, as I attempt to alternate new chapters of the novel with new chapters of my fimfiction works. So apologies in advance for that.

I had to ask for that one to be made from the original version of the pic, which was decidedly NSFW! I mean, I love the original version, but the mods *might* have objected to me using it... 
And I see from your latest avatar that Sunset’s showing her warrior side. Who needs a horn when you have an M-4?
I like, especially since it’s canon in my stories that she and the rest of the Humane 6 occasionally enjoy firing guns on AJ’s family farm.
