Actually I'm pretty ok with no TYT episodes lately. Hopefully they will use the time they have to develop the characters and finally give us some lore in the next episode.
If not, then maybe I'm not meant to watch G5 if it doesn't improve the characters 💀

I'm pretty sure the delays are to avoid spoilers for Make Your Mark.
I don't think we're going to get much lore-wise from TYT; that's Make Your Mark's department.
Again their delaying the show again seriously they need to get Make Your Mark to be out there soon but I guess they want to make sure that get everything right after their first premiere did not turn out to great but at least they fixed some issues kind of

They've actually been fairly good with the timing this time around.
Misty didn't appear in TYT until after MYM Chapter 2 started.
Holiday-themed episodes have been very appropriately timed.
Remember G4? Equestria Girls spoiled the fuck out of FIM plot points that didn't happen until weeks later, and we got Christmas episodes in May.

I guess that's a good point sometimes they had to delay it just in case they won't make a mistake of spoiling the episode I mean I did remember a leak of that Halloween episode was shown before the Crusaders of the Lost Mark came along it's a good thing the Cutie Mark Crusaders were wearing their costumes or else we would have been spoiled badly when they got their cutie marks

Yeah, that was the luckiest break ever. But I thought that was an episode leak, and not bad timing, unless I'm remembering incorrectly.
And yeah, Equestria Girls Friendship Games all but spoiled the Season 5 finale.

No the Halloween episode was supposed to come out after Crusader and a lost mark and it's been a while I ever watch that movie what was the scene that they almost spoiled the season 5 finale

Wait I think I remember it was towards to the end of the movie when Twilight apologize for not responding because she was really busy what was going on especially mentioning the time traveling part now I understood that yeah that was a huge spoiler
I guess they are using specials to hold people over until the new season of the main series starts.

I'll say this, we've gotten a variety of different content for G5 thus far. We've got the comics, a podcast, a video game, over forty animated shorts, two specials, and a season
(or chapters because Netflix)already, and all on a pretty consistent schedule.So by this point if they decide they need to take a break, they could go ahead.
Hasbro plans to have 2 chapters for MYM this year as well 2 specials and with the rest of the TYT episodes this year that is 43 left I think?
Have a feeling that MYM isn't coming for awhile like April/May? Not sure...

April-ish sounds like a good bet for the next MYM special. Last one was around Thanksgiving.
I just really want Misty's story to progress. Time for her to come over to the light side, or for her to find out what the toy boxes have already told us about her cutie mark.
