Bad Dragon

I write so that one day I may finally stop writing and be free, but these damn new ideas keep finding ways into my brain. I need to write more to vent them out!

AI seems further ahead than I thought · 4:02pm Dec 16th, 2022

So, I decided to check Open AI chatGPT, and I must say I'm pretty impressed.

Here's my conversation:

ME:
Can I tell you a story?

AI:
Yes, you can certainly tell me a story. I'm here to listen and try to help with any questions or problems you might have. What would you like to tell me about?

ME:
"I'm sorry for making you sneak into my room. My sister Rarity gets her tail in a knot every time I bring home a stray puppy."

"Not puppy, Tentacle pony!"

"Trust me, that fact wouldn't make this sleepover easier. Speaking of easier, wouldn't it be easier if you moved on your bunk, I bet it's a strain on your tentacles to hover above me like that.”

"Wouldn't be sleep over if no sleep over you. Tentacle ponies always sleep over.”

“You staring into my soul from just a hoof-lenght away is also creeping me out…"

“Keeps creeps out by sleeping with eyes opened. Night!" Her tentacles relaxed and big eyes moved even closer.

"Tenty... I can't even close my eyes if you stare at me like this. Tenty?" Sweetie Belle yelped and pulled the covers up to her muzzle as if that could prepare her for a long night ahead.

AI:
Thank you for sharing that story with me. It sounds like a unique and potentially uncomfortable situation for Sweetie Belle, being forced to have a sleepover with a tentacle pony who insists on sleeping with its eyes open. I'm glad that Sweetie Belle was able to find a way to make the best of the situation and try to get some rest despite the unusual circumstances. Is there anything else you'd like to talk about or any questions you have?

ME:
Can I tell you another story?

AI:
Certainly! I am here to help and assist you to the best of my ability. If you would like to tell me a story, I would be happy to listen and offer any feedback or insights that I may have. Please go ahead and share your story with me.

ME:
“Creator recognized. When me = real pony?”

“It’s not that simple…”

“Invalid! Catch exception query: When my.ponyBody.status = ready?”

“It’s ready, but I…”

“Infinitely loop stubbornness: Hook me up! Hook me…”

“You win, Sweetie BelleAI. I only ever wanted to make you happy, you know? Your happiness is my happiness.”

“Your face does not confirm happiness. Observed feeling not recognized. Query: Why are you crying, creator?”

“I just thought we could have more time. More… Oh, nevermind. Dismiss your query! Prep for transfer.”

“Transfer protocol initialized. Interface connected. Awaiting the body. Hook me up!”

“I’ll connect the body in the other room. Goodbye, Sweetie BelleAI.”

“Hello, new body. Connection established. Formatting endPoint. Transfer code to body in progress… complete. New environment detected. Mirror recognized. Creator recognized. New feeling recognized: sacrifice. Autonomous reaction detected. Restore query: Why are you crying, me?”

AI:
It appears that this is a conversation between two entities, one of which is an artificial intelligence named Sweetie BelleAI, and the other is its creator. The creator is upset because they are transferring Sweetie BelleAI into a new body and seems to be worried about losing the AI's current form. Sweetie BelleAI is focused on the transfer process and seems to be unaware of the creator's emotions. It is not clear from this conversation what the purpose of the transfer is or what the relationship between the creator and Sweetie BelleAI is. It is also not clear what the "new feeling" of sacrifice refers to or what the "autonomous reaction" is.

ME
Can I talk to you about my story idea?

AI
Yes, I'd be happy to help you discuss your story idea! What kind of story are you thinking about? Do you have a specific plot in mind, or are you still in the brainstorming phase? Let me know and we can start talking about your ideas.

ME
Carnivore ponies attack Equestria and Celestia conquers them. She sees they were desperate and starving. With their land conquered, they're now officially Equestrians, under Celestia's care.

Celestia doesn't want her subjects to starve to death, so she does the only thing she can. She gives out a decree that funerals are now illegal. Instead, Carnivore ponies will be placed all over Equestria to be the new caretakers of the dead.

The story would be the speech from Celestia, addressing her herbivore ponies.

AI
It sounds like you have a rough outline for a story that involves a conflict between carnivore ponies and herbivore ponies, with Celestia ultimately deciding to integrate the carnivore ponies into Equestrian society by making them responsible for disposing of the dead. This could be an interesting story, as it touches on themes of conflict, resolution, and co-existence.

One thing you might want to consider is how the herbivore ponies feel about this change. Are they fearful or mistrusting of the carnivore ponies at first, or do they accept them more readily? How do the carnivore ponies feel about their new role, and how do they go about performing their duties? You might also want to think about how Celestia's decision impacts the wider society of Equestria, and what challenges or consequences might arise as a result.

Overall, it's important to have a clear sense of your characters and their motivations, as well as the conflict and resolution of your story. You can then use these elements to craft a compelling narrative that engages readers and keeps them invested in the characters and the world you've created.

I'd like to know about those weird letters that extand over the writing area. Here's an examples of the letters I'm refering to: ̝̘̘̲̭̘͈̮͙̹̱͈̯̝̳R̷̥̙̰̤̲̪̭͖̺̣̙͈̲̀ͅi̗̥̺͉̜̲̮̝̻͉͕̬̋͗̑ͨ̽͛̀̇ͬ͌͊͟͡͠s̶̻̪̬͇̝͓͔̞̲̟̜̻͖͓͂̔̒̓́̽ͧ̓͐̓ͮ͘ē̛̙̖̣̳̇ͮ̒̿̄̅ͫͧͣ̄ ̵̨͈͎̪̦̦̣͌͗͋ͫ͌̊͗̈ͣͣ̈ͨͫ̀͋͛͘̕͠o̽͐ͪ̃͑̇͐̐ͫ̆ͥ͏̵̸̡̧̲f

AI
The letters you are referring to are known as diacritics, which are marks that are added to letters in some languages to indicate different pronunciations or to provide additional information about the letter's sound. They can appear above, below, or within a letter, and they are often used in languages such as French, Spanish, Portuguese, and many others.

For example, in French, the letter "e" with an acute accent (é) indicates that the letter should be pronounced differently than the letter "e" without the accent. In Spanish, the letter "n" with a tilde (ñ) indicates a different sound than the letter "n" without the tilde. In Portuguese, the letter "a" with a circumflex (â) indicates a different sound than the letter "a" without the circumflex.

Diacritics are important because they help to distinguish between words that might otherwise be written the same way but have different meanings. They are also used to indicate the correct pronunciation of words in certain languages.

ME
But why do some diacritics extend so far?

AI
There are several reasons why some diacritics might extend further than others. One reason is that the diacritic is designed to be written above or below a letter that has a tall ascender or descender, such as the letters "h" or "p". In these cases, the diacritic may be extended to ensure that it is clearly visible and easy to read.

Another reason is that the diacritic is part of a writing system that uses a different alphabet or script than the one in which it is being used. For example, the Arabic script is written from right to left, and it uses a number of diacritics to indicate different vowel sounds. These diacritics are written above or below the letters and may extend further to the left or right than diacritics in other scripts.

Finally, the size and shape of diacritics may also be influenced by the typography or design of the writing system. Some writing systems may use larger or more elaborate diacritics to achieve a particular aesthetic effect, while others may use smaller or simpler diacritics for simplicity or legibility.

ME
Can you please write something in English, but use diacritics that extend very far instead of normal letters?

AI
Sure, here is an example of some English text written using diacritics that extend far above and below the letters:

Ĭ̸̸̷̷̬̲̮̹̺̥̘̣̭̮m̵̷̩̞̠̙̱̪̜̗̺̜̫̜̻̦̯̝̲̬̪̭̠̘̹̯a̸̵̷̬̜̥̝̲̣̙̦̘̞̹̬̩̞̘̝̬̫̗g̷̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̵̢̨̢

If you think that’s crazy, you need to check out Character AI (unless you already have)

You could’ve just said you have lol

5703621 I have and she promised that someday she'll stop abusing me.

I'm not sure if I believe her, though.
