Seriously, I was kind of wondering when it would happen; I think it's a testament to the folks in the group that it hadn't happened before. I get PA's now and then, about all sorts of inconsequential shit (I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM MY DAD IN THREE WEEKS?! HE'S DIED, HE MUST HAVE!). So I'm not taking this as a bad thing; this is just a sign that I take the group seriously. If I didn't, No Fucks Would Be Given.

I'm not mad or anything, but I'm curious. The story doesn't actually fit the guidelines given in the group, but seems to have been accepted anyway.

I created the group Twenty Great Stories a short time ago. I have some Grand Intentions for this group, I tell you that.

The basic plan is simple. Slowly, with a reasonably simple set of criteria, build up a list of great stories. Once we've got twenty, any new possible great stories to be added will have to have room made -- one of the current list will have to go into a Previous Greats folder.

Well, I've just made a group for discussions and stories about that.

I couldn't seem to find one about this topic anywhere else, and since magical capabilities in general are a prime source of discussion on some of the writer groups I'm in, I thought it'd be nice to have a group for it.

I ran out of enough brain for editing work I promised folks, and finally made some sleep-deprived progress on Sacred Sonatina 2. The Prelude is done, the Interlude is done, and half of the first chapter's done. I can get back to the editing after I either get caffeinated or sleepified.
