Octavia and Vinyl Scratch, two musicians who have never met in the canonical universe, and yet have both performed in a similar place: Canterlot. At the same time, the Mane Six is there to enjoy their different styles of music, and find themselves to be strictly in the background. But, what is it they see that keeps them there? Why are they never given lines? Why does Octavia close her eyes, and Vinyl wear her glasses? Why is Vinyl's one instance of exposing her eyes significant?

This is a symbolic/experimental story, meant to try a new medium of writing. There is a storyline, but it is meant to be background; the focus is the thoughts, the imagery, and the connection to colors.

Discord, the chaotic former-king of a chaos-ridden Equestria, has just been reinstated by Princess Celestia as a reformed Draconequus. However, he wishes to be alone after that event, when he leaves to reflect upon the being he once was. Where else would he go to think than where his millennium of thinking began? The Canterlot Sculpture Garden.

Spike, the lovable draconic assistant to Twilight Sparkle, was once her number one assistant and close friend. But after a fight, Twilight becomes fed up with Spike and decides to evict him from her home. Happy with wanting to see her fail, Spike leaves Twilight, hoping that she will come back begging for him.

This short story is set hours after the fight and into the evening, capturing the psychological trauma that Spike and Twilight will face. Each character is plagued with the memories of the other, and will soon come to realize, whether it be in a run-down motel room or the Ponyville Library, that their lives may have been changed forever.

I decided to write this differently than my other stories; I wanted to make it seem more choppy and confused to match the character's confusion. I hope you enjoy it.

Rarity, the fashionista pony of Ponyville, works tirelessly at Carousal Boutique, creating new works of art for the rest of Equestria to marvel at. At least, this is her vision. In reality, Rarity lives in a world where she makes stunning works of art at her own pace, and only on occasion receives a decently paying commission from somepony. This isn't the kind of life that is stable or rewarding in Rarity's case. Her desire is to become popular, famous even, is powered by the support of her friends and the insight of her prim lifestyle.

However, this all changes when a trio of upper-crust tailors from Canterlot visit Ponyville in order to make a business affiliation with Rarity. Their leader, Pret a Porter, a peculiar pegasus with hypnotic eyes, sways Rarity with the hopes of making her friends famous as well, and proposes the Elements of Harmony to be abridged and used in a fashion lineup.

Rarity gladly takes the collaborative project, not realizing what she has begun. Will her desire for fame, both her own and her friends', blind her from the crushing reality she lives by? Will she finally see the truth behind her true skill, and her connection to the Element that she possesses?
