I've been thinking about 'A New Sun Rises' and whether it might be worthwhile to subject myself to the process of submitting it to Equestria daily. I've heard some horror stories, heard others mention that it's not really worth it, or that it's only suited for particular types of stories. At the same time, it might help expand my readership.

I dunno.

Anybody with experience that might be able to toss some pointers?

Also, next chapter will probably be up by the weekend.

Okay, now this is just pissing me off to no end. Some [EXPLETIVE DELETED] has stolen my work and is selling it all over the internet under his own name. I have sent out emails to Google, iTunes, and Amazon but I have no idea how successful they'll be...

For reasons that I will not speak of, my editor and I have had to part ways. While I will miss working with him and wish him the best, this does still leave me in the position of requiring a new editor/pre-reader for this project.

In the meantime, I will have to just double-down on my self-editing efforts and rely on post-publishing edits to cover my failings.

Because you will never find an answer faster than by posting something wrong on the internet.

New story is being rolled out. At the time of this blog posting, its still pending approval so you might need to wait a little while, but I'm heading to sleep right now so I can't exactly wait until its up before making this blog post.

Come on whoever is still paying attention, help get this thing to the feature box!

All signs are pointing to good things. I seem to be hitting my stride, grinding out another 7k-ish words in two weeks, which was my average pace during my best times of writing. I think I can have the first of the chapters published before the week's over.

Two weeks, just over 10 pages (~6k words) and another 8 pages or so of notes.

Considering this is the first significant amount of writing I've done in nearly half a year, I'd say it's not too shabby.

Think I'll get a couple of chapters finished before I put it up on the site. Still need to find an editor...

TL;DR - writing good, moping bad.

I assure you people out there, or at least those who can still vaguely recall my name within the annals of their memories, that I am still technically alive.

After a long and grueling search, I think I've managed to find my muse again.

Hopefully, I can get a new chapter soon.

Key word is 'hopefully'.

Also, went to Comic-Con, now have a plushy Derpy and Octavia figurine. Smug 'Tavi will keep me in line.

I realize my activity hasn't been high as of late. As I've explained earlier, I've had vacations and education stuff to take up a chunk of my free time. Well, the vacations over (Scotland and England were very nice to see...and wet), and the education stuff is progressing smoothly. A new chapter for Where Would Rainbow Dash is just waiting for my editor to take a look over it, and I'm working on the next.
