After a long and grueling search, I think I've managed to find my muse again.
Hopefully, I can get a new chapter soon.
Key word is 'hopefully'.
Also, went to Comic-Con, now have a plushy Derpy and Octavia figurine. Smug 'Tavi will keep me in line.
I find that the easiest way to keep a hold of your muse is to tie her to a chair, though it is important that you do so with ductape and feed her nothing but brownies, otherwise she'll find a way to get loose.
I don't know why you struggle so much. You're a fantastic author, and wrote my favorite Apple/Dash fan fic of all time, and I wasn't even that big into Apple/Dash to begin with!
You might want to sit down with LoyalLiar, since him and I recently talked about this. Creative writing, more so stories you want to write not only for yourself but for your others, needs to be sat down on and not mused, but deeply thought of. Even in times where you don't feel like writing anything. Trust me, I struggle with that part too.
You could almost say that writing is a job I love and hate at the same time when the muse isn't there, because those walls make the challenges all the most interesting and I grow from it. Someone as exceptional as you when it comes to shippin shouldn't have to wait for that muse. I think you can create that spark whenever you want. It's inside of you. Insert optimistic jingle here.
Infinite loves from a fan who loves your work.
Welcome back!
Well damn. I'm glad you found your inspiration again. But now this means I actually have to catch up to what you've written so I can be ready for what comes next. Only managed to finish the Ponyville 40k one so far. I've got a lot of reading ahead of me.
Soon...sooon....I shall catch up the three chapters behind I am :(
