All signs are pointing to good things. I seem to be hitting my stride, grinding out another 7k-ish words in two weeks, which was my average pace during my best times of writing. I think I can have the first of the chapters published before the week's over.
Big shout out and thanks to KiltedKey, not only for editing but also for giving me the much needed proverbial kick in the head to remind me that, yes, people do actually enjoy reading the crap I put out. I mean, it's not as though I couldn't get that impression from just glancing through old reviews of WWDD, but this is FimFiction - you could vomit alphabet soup onto a piece of paper, take a picture, and somebody on this site would call you a literary genius for it. Sometimes one well-written review is worth more than a thousand one-liners.
Anyways, I suppose some of you might be curious as to what exactly I've got in store. The working title is 'A New Sun Rises', and will my first attempt at the 'slice of life' genre. It will follow Sunset Shimmer as she goes from unpopular outcast to...well, whatever the future has in store for her. Hopefully, it'll have plenty of laughs, heartfelt moments, triumphs, adversities, and somebody getting shot in the butt. Who will it be? You'll just have to wait and find out.

I am looking forward to this =)
