Writing is notorious for being a solitary activity, the truth is that it doesn't always have to be that way. Some of the best experiences I've had with writing is in helping others and hearing back from people on what I can do to improve. And sometimes it's just good to talk to other writers about writing. I have a few places that I go to for help or advice when I need it, and I couldn't imagine trying to tackle as much as I do without that kind of support.

Yup, I'm still alive, but sadly for those of you who've been waiting for the next chapter, I haven't worked on editing it since the last time I've made one of these blogs. I've been working on a long work of original fiction that I don't think I'll have finished anytime in the next year. I know I said I'd have the last half of the book ready to go by September, but in all honesty October is a much more realistic estimate at this point.
