Princess Amber of Enchancia was happy with her life, but she found herself wanting to try something else. But she had expectations to meet with her friends at Royal Prep, and she knew everypony would make a fuss if she stepped out of the usual Princess-like activities.

But when her father goes into town, and she decides to go with him, she meets an unlikely pony, and a friendship begins to blossom.

Sofia Charm lives with her Mother Miranda Heart in the small village of Dunwiddie. Her days were spent carefree playing with her two best friends Jade Dawn and Ruby wheel, but after a fateful delivery of slippers to the King of their Kingdom, King Roland the Second, Sofia finds herself thrown from her carefree life and hailed as the newest Princess of Enchancia.
