So, my declaration of going to the vet right then and not wait until saturday and much money, time and stress saved my brother's dog's life. She is back home, sore and sorry for herself but far happier than being at a vet. He is so much happier to not have lost her.

Now I need some rest and maybe, just maybe I can get to work on some of the short stories.

The end of Arc 1 in the Teapot Tales has arrived with the posting of the final chapter. The shorts are coming with Arc 2 in the distance behind them.

Again, thank you all for giving such an odd little story, which was unintentionally given out in a fragmented way, a chance. I am truly humbled by the reaction to it.

Real life kicked hard this week with a medical emergency in the family. Spent a good chunk of Friday night in A&E acting as translator/assistant as I tend to do in these kinds of emergencies while waiting for explanations/results. Recovery for them is happening, slow but seeing the improvement. Was hoping to get the final arc 1 chapter of A Deer Named John done for the end of the weekend. It may still happen, but this will take precedence when needed.

Long time between thoughts on this one. A little out of the blue and not sure if anyone is interested in a follow up or not, but may have just had an idea for a sequel to From the Diary of Close Call. Huh. Wasn't expecting that!

Letting it stew a bit but the concept is there. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Could mean answers to many questions with regard to the original short story. (Yes, I am making notes for it, so that is a very good sign.)
