Writing update - Updated · 10:55pm Dec 16th, 2019
Even with the insanity of the past week and this week's sun having the desire to burn me off the face of the planet, I am doing my best to write the first of the side stories. Struggling with the P.O.V. at the moment while trying to make it interesting. Currently juggling it between John, Cremator and Boo. Trying to get the best choice and each has their own up and downsides. I would use John in a heartbeat but she keeps coming across as too passive in the test pieces, so we will see. Maybe I'm just not getting the scenes right.
Also, I have re-opened A Deer Named John's main file, mostly because I have found a way to run the theme of John through to the end of arc 3, justifying it being all under the one heading. The arcs and side stories will be in together, but I will be designating them in a way I am still nailing down.
Another devastating thing hit my family last night, but I won't go into that until I know more. It may mean I have to travel interstate at short notice and would be the main reason it hits my writing outside of the emotional side.

Update - I may have figured it out. I think I have the wrong order for the side stories. Will take some testing, but hopefully I have the answer to my problem now. Only annoyance is I wanted to show the break up of the former humans to start off where they are going next. I guess it is my new tiny problem to solve. Little steps I guess.
