Team of pegasi smoke jumpers who bring the rains with them to fight fires. Maybe they even twist water vapor with their wings and aerial maneuvers. For some reason I have the idea of them flying in to fight a huge fire to the song Thunderstruck by AC/DC.
Not sure I have a way to use this idea.
Not a surprising thought when it is this hot where I am. On a day we were to reach 45C/113F, we have so far topped out at 46C/114.8F. Two more days of similar still to go... I am becoming one puddle of bat pony.
Also, apparently I'm chipping away at more than one of the side stories at the same time.
Update - And the bad thing is, now my brain wants to try and write it. Dammit MosAnted! That tiny nudge was too much. Looks like I'm doing this!
