So, my declaration of going to the vet right then and not wait until saturday and much money, time and stress saved my brother's dog's life. She is back home, sore and sorry for herself but far happier than being at a vet. He is so much happier to not have lost her.
Now I need some rest and maybe, just maybe I can get to work on some of the short stories.
Absolutely exhausted,
Tael.
Glad to hear she made it through

Same. Could've posted this hours ago but didn't want to jinx it like yesterday seemed to after posting before going and her having a turn while we drove. She is so very much improved on what we saw yesterday. Not her full bright self, but that will come as and after she fully heals.
Sorry it's taken me so long to read your post.
I hope everything is alright now - you've had more than your fair share of problems recently, but at least it looks like this little adventure has had a happy ending.

Thanks and don't worry, I know you're a little hamstrung with your time. The very good news is what I heard last night. Even though she still has stitches until just before Christmas Day, she has returned to being her otherwise 100% normal self according to my brother.
2019 has been a pretty bad year for me and my family, it isn't exactly done with us right now (dealing with care packages to a friend who had major surgery the other day when she gets home today for example), but it is the extreme emergency stuff I will highlight more than anything else here as it is what pulls me away from writing most. The extreme (heat) weather will be in the way this week, but we will get there and, hopefully, return to writing and chapter posting by the start of next week.
