So folks, the next chapter of Event Horizon will be coming next week in light of my life getting increasingly busy. The usual schedule should apply after this delay, but hold onto that hype and be sure to spread the word in the meantime!

Hello folks! What a weird fic that was, huh? I didn't cry while writing it or anything.
But before I get a bunch of comments about it, the title of the story is based quite literally on the real-life disorder with identical symptoms: Capgras Syndrome.
I hope it wasn't too grim though, I may have gone over the edge with this story, but I hope you can forgive me!

So folks, I finally moved out of my father's house, and onward into the future! I'm quite nervous about things, and am new to this 'on my own' stuff. So, until I'm sorted, could be a week, two or four, I won't be updating Event Horizon.

So, in the mental fog of last night, I thought the prologue defeated nearly all tension in the early chapters. From the standpoint, I deleted it, but then after a quick re-reading of it and some convincing, I put it back. Sorry for the confusion folks, and to any future readers (which I'm certain there will be), the prologue was not added after the first few chapters, it was there first.

The EUP has always intrigued me. A military establishment in Equestria. What does that entail? The ranks? The training? The operations it oversees? In the show, at least to where I've seen (season 6), it shows a little. That the military does exist, have ranks and a standard chain of command. But what exactly, then, does this chain wrap around?

So I know the question on everyone's mind is: What's Ruby gonna write next? What's her next piece? And the answer, very large and real crowd, is that it's Event Horizon. And it's gonna hit my accounts shelves very soon. How soon? The now ocean-like mob asks. Within a week or so, you will see the prologue and first chapter. I don't see any reason why at least that much wouldn't be done by then.

I feel as though writing is a battle of ideas and execution, as well as fending off distractions. That being said, I have not fared well in fighting off said distractions. While I can write notes for stories I want to do, and of them there are many and most of them solid and interesting, I can never actually put words to a page without something else catching my attention.
