You know the sort, all happy guitars and bluegrass influences and ballads about how the south is just so... southy. Just think about it for a moment. Start with Sweet Home Alabama and work your way through all those famous tracks. Listen to it. Absorb the melodies.

I've got stuff in progress. I know I keep mentioning that I'm somewhat injured, but I am somewhat injured and it makes writing surprisingly hard. Either I'm hepped up on goofballs and reduced to a drooling wreck, or I'm in an insomniac stupor because I've not slept for the last tow or three days. And as you can imagine this makes writing... well, like iI said. Hard. And not in the sexy way.

Or even the ironic way.

Just hard.
