No plot anywhere.
Left to right: Crincile di Botici, Twilight Velvet, Star Sparkle.
Yes, Star Sparkle and Twilight Velvet do look similar. Yes they have similar cutie marks. They're not related, don't be so disgusting.
Pervert.
Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists.
There's a bunch of fics I've got half-written and never published anywhere (yet - they're coming!). They cause problems.
"What sort of problems?" I hear you ask, with that oh-so-seductive voice you all have in my head. Problems like introducing bits of headcanon that seeps into my other fics like insidious little metamemic worms, that end up infesting the other versions of worlds I've written.
... go and read this. I'm serious. Just read it.
In fact everyone else go read it too. Just because I say so!
I'd explain why, but I'm terrible at explanations. Suffice to say it took a very interesting peek at a few things. It's well worth the read even if you're not particularly a Xeno fan, but if you are (especially if you were into the worldbuilding stuff) then you must take a look.
I demand it.
AnonAuthor and AnonponyDASHIE seem to be asleep right now, so it falls to me to point everyone to another Xenophilia side story: Xenophilia: Further Tales. Go read and enjoy.
Part of the fun (and the torture) of writing The Greatest Of These is the almost whole-cloth construction of various mythologies that I've had to perform to get the story to make any sense. So far there's been a brief mention of a Unicorn myth - The Fall of Adara - and an even briefer mention of the Pegasi myth of Okeanos. It's safe to say that all the mythologies of the three tribes and other races are interwoven, in ways that will be revealed later in the story, whenever I get
