Starlight Glimmer is filled with guilt for all the things she did at her old town. She also is wondering why Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship, is giving her a second chance after all the misery Starlight caused. Twilight and Starlight take the train right after Starlight becomes Twilight's apprentice of friendship.

This takes place during the song, Friends Are Always There For You, in the last episode of Season 5. There is a brief scene where Starlight returns with Twilight to the town Starlight had left at the beginning of the season. I know Starlight returns later in a different episode, but I wanted to write a short little story showing what Starlight might be thinking after her whole ordeal.

I have gone through my life here in Ponyville for quite some time without a special somepony. The thought of a mare by my side to chat and hang out with has crossed my mind, but it has been difficult for me to talk to other ponies, let alone a cute mare. Shyness has plagued my love life it seems. That is until a certain lovely, yellow pegasus named Fluttershy crossed my path one day. Too bad she is just as shy as me. Luckily, she has five friends to force the two of us into dates. Still, two shy ponies interacting is a recipe to make almost any other pony facehoof from the combined shyness.

On Nightmare Nights, a peculiar pony wanders into Ponyville to witness the festivities. The pony is swept into a night of trick-or-treating before reuniting with its mother.

The three noble, classy ponies named Spiffy Spectacles, Ornate Bodice, and Important Socks attend the Grand Galloping Gala. Expecting a night of prominent discussions and famed music, the night takes an awry turn as a group of newcomers crashes the renowned event.

This is my submission for Equestria Daily's The More Most Dangerous Game Writing Contest. The prompt was: A human finds a young pony abandoned in a cardboard box, and decides to raise her as his own.

This year, Maple, an earth pony, decides to run in the annual Running of the Leaves. Never before has he attempted this feat. Even though other ponies and himself doubt that he is capable of doing well in the run, Maple still competes more for himself than for first place.
