Octavia, struggling with her frustration at Vinyl, takes some time to heal at Twilight's behest. When Vinyl acts strangely at the market, Octavia's about had enough, but a visitor with some foreboding news makes Octy realize what she could lose in the long run.

Vinyl fails to listen to her beloved Octavia about some important housekeeping requests and creates a rift between them. Not sure if the rift will ever be fixed, Vinyl takes it hard, believing herself to be the worst pony around. Luckily, there are some who empathize and try to put her on the right path.

Bubble Flurry takes a position as a coach at a friend's hockey camp while balancing a speedy summer semester of school. She tries to find her confidence amidst coaching, continuing classes, and meeting new ponies. She may be looking for her coaching voice, but that doesn't mean she can't find other things along the way.
