I mean… where do I start? I guess I'll just go ahead and rip off the Band-Aid.
The Continuity is done. It’s over. My inter-connected series of stories that began all the way back on October 17, 2012 (twenty five stories in all) will not see its full, intended conclusion.
Now let me tell you why.
On the eighth anniversary of the day that 'Lost in the Night' debuted on FIMFiction, I'll be making a major announcement. It's not a decision that I've come to lightly, but one that I've become more comfortable with over the past month or so that I've made it.
Despite enormous creative set-backs, edge-of-your-seat deadlines, and various other issues, the first season of 'the Scarab Archives' has come to a successful close. While we're no runaway hit, we at Lazarus Entertainment and incredibly pleased with the 60 or so listeners we have on Spotify and recognize that everyone has to start somewhere.

Hello and welcome to the next installment of 'Failed Fics,' a look into the numerous fanfics I've started but ultimately had to kill. Their stories vary, but the themes are the same; they just didn't belong in this world.
This one goes back a while, and it's a story I labored over for years; 'For the Love of the Craft,' my attempt at horror, comedy, and buddy adventure stories all in one neat package.
Since Monday;
-I've tested twice. Once Monday, once today. Monday test was supposed to have results in 3-5 days. Today's test is supposed to take 24-48 hours. Anyway you slice it, I'm likely stuck in this hotel room for the rest of the weekend... or if I can't scrounge the money together, sleeping in my car. So that's fun.
-I've shown no symptoms, so I was made to come into work... where I was forced to stay for at least two hours overtime each day. Also fun.

So as a few of you know, I work in a state prison in Florida. I've mentioned it a few times. If you've made even a passing glance at the news lately, you know that things here in the Sunshine State are... not great in regards to the current pandemic. I'm sad to say that while it might have taken awhile, the rampant spread of Covid-19 has finally breached the (to this day) never-escaped-from fences of my place of employment.
