First new chapter is up, and the second one is half-finished. Just thought I'd let people know!

So, in an effort to continue writing this little fun project of mine, I started going through my character sheets (using this system of rules), and making a new character to add into the story.

Then I started going through creating this guy, and then fleshing out the others while I was at it. So, now they're very different than what I had intended when I first wrote this.

I didn't realize this until just now, but um...Marjoram is currently sitting at 95,567 words long. With 32 chapters that's an average of around 3000 words/chapter.

So as you know, there's a lot of ponies I have yet to even mention in Captured. This is partly because I'm trying to tie in the plot as best as I can, while still having the fatty-goodness everyone wants to see. As such, I'm left with a lot of background ponies, secondary characters, and others that I haven't even mentioned.

I HAVE A NEW COMPUTER. I REPEAT. I NOW HAVE A COMPUTER.

I'm still getting used to typing on it since this computer is much larger, and I'm rather out of practice since I didn't type much. I'm working on fixing the editing issues with the last chapter of Captured, and a new chapter of Marjoram is now up because I fixed the issues.

Hopefully I'll be able to write more now. Though Sims 4 has caught my attention and this is why I'm posting this now rather than when I got it yesterday.

So I use google docs to write my stories (since I can write sometimes while on my phone), mostly because I dont want to clog up my Dad's computer with my own documents.

For most of my fimfiction days, I've used google docs. Ive just imported them as instructed and voila! My chapter appears as it's written in the doc.

I'm working full time, and still don't have regular computer access. I want to get a new laptop in the new year, which should help my updating speed.

I have most of the next few weeks off, so I'm hoping to update the major stories at least once in the coming days.

As is, I've updated Marjoram with a small chapter that probably isn't canon within the story. Just two one-shots for fun. I hope you enjoy them!

I know I haven't posted very much in a little while, and I'm sorry.

Less than a week after our puppy was hit, an older cat vanished. We think he got killed by a coyote or something, but we're still hopeful. Then a little while after that, I found out that my great-grandfather died via a grammatically incorrect facebook post. I told my mom, and she didn't know either. We haven't even gone to the funeral yet, so the last little while has sucked.

I might not be updating much of anything for a few days.

Late last night/very early this morning our puppy, Tildy, was fatally hit by a car. We buried her this morning. Needless to say, my family and I are devastated. Tildy was a sweet girl, and everyone loved her very much. It still hasn't sunk in yet that she's gone, and I was with my dad when he found her. I saw her too.

Obviously, I'll update if I can. I hope you'll understand if I can't update anything for a few days.
