Gather round and witness the tale of the last voyage of the Maple Leaf, with the dread pirate Cap'n Tractor at the helm. A shipment of hay is under threat, but Applejack doesn't believe pirates even still exist - and Rarity has been reading far too many trashy pirate romances.

Everypony is in for a bit of a surprise.

I've had the bloody song stuck in my head for an entire day, okay? Don't judge me. The idea of AJ and Rarity being victims of agricultural piracy just struck me as inherently funny, and I had to get the idea out of my head.

Very definitely inspired by IMMATOONLINK's hilarious Canadian Horse Pirates, itself a video accompaniment to Captain Tractor's cover of the amazing song "The Last Saskatchewan Pirate", originally by the Arrogant Worms.

Twilight Sparkle has spent years adding books to the collection she watches over. Stories long and short, fiction and non-fiction, world-shattering and mundane. There are names attached to each, some as instantly recognisable as that of the Princess herself.

Other names, however, might be less familiar to the world at large - but they are no less important to Twilight. They are all her friends, and each left a piece of themselves within her care. Sometimes as an author, sometimes as a subject, many ponies from across Equestria have a part of themselves represented within Twilight's library.

These are the stories of how some of those books came about.

A collection of short stories about Twilight's meetings with some of the other ponies she has gotten to know over the years, titled with the name of the book they left behind and the pony concerned. They take place in a shared universe, but not necessarily in chronological order. The books themselves may even turn up somewhere around here eventually as standalone stories.

This will be marked complete from the get-go, because updates are going to be extremely infrequent and I'll only be posting complete shorts that should stand by themselves.

A dark force from another world seeks an escape from its prison - and to create an entryway into a realm of limitless magic. With lawlessness and evil spreading from one desert frontier to another, Equestria was going to need an army of Marshals.

They got one.

Well, his horse actually.

He'll have to do.

A thought experiment about how a full size cybernetic horse, who also happens to be the last of his kind, might fare in a world full of little cartoon ponies turned into a couple of random scenes, then into a story with a plot and things. Powerful magical artefacts, the biggest hand-held positronic cannon this side of the galactic core and friendships on both sides of the divide are tested as everyone tries to figure out what exactly is going on, and how to stop Stampede invading Equestria.

Maybe it'll even be a good story. It's my first, so feel free to comment/give feedback. Maybe you'll make it better for everyone else reading it
