Okay, it made sense in my head I swear. It's in chapter six of The Married Life of Cadence and Shining Armor. In the story, Cadence makes an extremely horrifying discovery (The bodies of entire families, including foals, in Sombra's dungeons.) Shining knows something is wrong, but Cadence won't open up. So, many moons ago I decided to write the entire love story of Shining and Cadence from the wedding and beyond. Then I realized something. Cadence is immortal. Shining isn't. I now have two options.
