I made myself sad. · 5:46pm May 13th, 2016
So, many moons ago I decided to write the entire love story of Shining and Cadence from the wedding and beyond. Then I realized something. Cadence is immortal. Shining isn't. I now have two options.
1. Write a chapter so heartbreakingly sad I started crying just planning it out.
2. An extremely contrived plot to turn Shining into an alicorn.
I would turn him into an alicorn. I don't no why, but i don't like it so mush then Shining dies or something.
Who says Cadance IS immortal? Have the folks that make the show said she is? No.
So WHY does everyone just automatically ASSUME that ascended alicorns are automatically immortal?
I don't, and until it is declared as canon in the show, I'm going by, and will CONTINUE to go by, the idea that both Cadance AND Twilight are long-lived but are NOT automatically immortal.
Cadance isn't immortal. She's a mortal alicorn, only Celestia and Luna are divine creatures and therefore immortal.
i say, shining armor stay a unicron but become simi-immortal because he marry an alicorn, he is ageless but can still die if in combat or something like that,
