I am completely opposed to the application of the death penalty as, apparently, were my Celtic ancestors. According to "The Irish Statute Book" there was no death penalty in the Brehon Law of Ancient Ireland. Outlawry or the payment of compensation were the ordinary punishments as it was among the culturally related Norse. Why is this so? Is it not human nature to seek retribution? No. No it is not. It is our animal nature that seeks retribution. We are Children of the Gods, not animals.

Well, the Care and Raising of Pegasii is officially complete. I fully intend to write a sequel to it, but for now it feels finished in the sense that I don't know where to go with it. The main conflict is over, Scootaloo has found a new home with Dash and is ready to move on to a new level of training now that she can fly. (Even though she's still having trouble with it, and the sequel will reveal that LOL, you'll just have to read it)

Love conquers all. It is a force of nature. It was the First God, and caused all things to be. Love binds families, tribes, nations, entire worlds and galaxies. It endures. It was at the beginning. I'm working on the last chapter. Should be up this week. Scratch that, it may be the last chapter of the first arc.

Things are winding down with this semester. This morning I was able to actually work on my personal writing! I have a last chapter planned for The Care and Raising of Pegasii. There will be a sequel series to it. Also, how's everyone feel about PinkieDash? How's everyone feel about Dash marrying Pinkie and raising Scootaloo as one big, happy, crazy family? I have this idea in my head that goes along those lines.
