A war has lead to the extinction of the Changelings... At least that is what everpony thinks. With Queen Chrysalis's dying breath, she casts a powerful spell that temporary changed a Changeling's form and wiping their memory. Ten years has passed since then and the new heir to the throne, Princess Mariposa must rebuild the Changeling Kingdoms with help from all of her subjects of course.

After being imprisoned on the Moon for 1,000 years Nightmare Moon has returned. Twilight and her friends went to stop the Nightmare Pony, but only to have their plan fall flat. The Elements didn't work and now Nightmare Moon is in a constant struggle with her sister, Celestia causing a rift among ponies. There are now ponies who follow and serve Nightmare Moon, among them being a pony called Scimitar. She serves Luna closely, as a guard, and as a friend. A war is raging on and Scimitar must do what she can to protect her precious Princess of the Moon, even if it costs her life.

Prince Zero, son of Queen Chrysalis and King Sombra has come to wreak havoc upon Equestria. He will meet new friends, new enemies and the famous Princess's Luna and Celestia. Will Zero follow the path of his father and bring the ponies of Equestria to their knees... or will he find another path... another destiny.
