Okay, it's only 42 weeks but I'm gonna do it.
Just a critic who happens to write about pastel colored magical talking ponies
Okay, it's only 42 weeks but I'm gonna do it.
So this wicked awesome guy called Umbra gave me some feedback on the story I wrote, and there are some changes that need to be made, mostly involving my skill in writing. Rest assured, I am not discouraged, but envigorated.
Hi guys. First off, thanks for reading. I wanted you to know I've made a few small but very important edits to the final chapter of "The Pony on the Wall". Namely, Twilight's section at the end. I've completed my outline for the new book, and writing should begin immediately. For those of you sad to see Ink Blot go, you'll be interested to hear that she'll be in the third book as well. I'm terrible with spoilers, so I'll stop there. Still waiting on EqD's response for this, but, here's hoping.
Don't worry, I'm not actually spoiling the story. I know you guys are eager to see what's actually going on in this monstrosity I've created. Chapter four is finished and awaiting an editing pass, and I've magically conjured up a plot for chapter five, so there's that to look forward to. In the mean time, enjoy an alternate ending written by a friend of mine who was drunk at the time. We had homemade mead last night, and he heard I'd written a pony story, so he decided he was going to
So, a lot of you have read what is probably my most successful story so far, 2-D Pony. What it was born of was simple writer's block, and a personal challenge to write a story as close to 1000 words as possible (A sort of writer's black jack, if you will). But that's not the point of this Blog. It later occured to me that I could tell the story again, but from a different angle—perhaps answer and/or raise a few questions. I've begun the writing of this tale, and have put the first chapter into
Okay, so... Every time I send a story in for editing, I get the same response. My descriptions aren't descriptive enough. I don't know how to fix this, because it all makes sense in my head, and I don't know what it is I'm not describing, so I'm basically looking for a dedicated prereader. Somepony I can send all my writing to who can look over it an try to describe to me what they think is happening. Maybe ask questions they'd like to know about different scenes or events so as to help me fill
So it seems that the rather dark tale of a two dimensional pony that I posted nearly a year to the day ago, is in fact, *not* complete. A young, pink filly by the name of Ink Blot has come to me in my mind's eye, and demanded that I tell her tale. Following her instruction, I have spent the last week crafting the first chapter, and it is nearly complete. A simple editing pass and we will have the first chapter to a sequel of 2-D Pony. To
Okay, I don't want to take up too much of your time—especially since I don't have too much of it myself—but I wanted to let you all know that the long awaited replacement for the story that shall not be named "A Special Mare", "Autumn" is finally here.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Hi guys. Been a while, I know, which is why I've put up the new chapter for Grace in Equestria. It's going to have one more editing run through Ponychan's /fic/ board, and there may or may not be a short scene added in in the future, but I figured I'd made you wait long enough.
Additionally, the new story "Autumn" (replacement for A Special Mare) will be up soon. I have a few minor tweaks left for the first chapter, and the rough draft for the second chapter is nearly finished.
