    Leaving for a bit

If you're reading this, I'm off on a long, long field exercise, for a few months, and I won't be able to answer. Don't worry, I'm not dead. I'll be back as soon as I can.

    The Rain Recedes

Well, it's been nearly six months since the last update, but I'm considering shutting down "Tales of the Rainmaker". Someone pointed out a lot of flaws in the story that are too well engrained to fix. Part of me wants to continue, because I want to tell her story, but at the same time, that reviewer was right.

Need a long term editor for "The Secret of Ponyville"

No, this thing isn't dead. The entire plot is written out in a neat three arc format, I just need to fill in the details. The problem is I'm struggling to get a lot of the scenes to hit just right, and early on I relied heavily on input from Web of Hope as he

What does the 2D Pony look like? · 12:55am Oct 15th, 2013

So, a lot of you have read what is probably my most successful story so far, 2-D Pony. What it was born of was simple writer's block, and a personal challenge to write a story as close to 1000 words as possible (A sort of writer's black jack, if you will). But that's not the point of this Blog. It later occured to me that I could tell the story again, but from a different angle—perhaps answer and/or raise a few questions. I've begun the writing of this tale, and have put the first chapter into the editing phase while I work on the second, but a question occured to me that I'm very curious about, which concerns you, the reader:

What did you imagine the pony on the wall to look like?

If You're still reading, you've probably read the story, and probably noticed how completely ambiguous the gender as well as overall appearance of the narrator was. He or she is never described, as the story is told from his/her perspective. I did this intentionally, to raise the exact question I never thought to ask out loud. Would they be young, old, mare, stallion, colt filly? What color would they be. Would they have a cutie mark? what would it be?

I know I look like a lazy writer looking for ideas (there may still be some truth in that >.>) but I honestly just want to hear your opininons and get a glimpse into your imaginations.

So, what do you say? What did he/she look like to you?
