: The next segment, "Working Through the Pain," focuses on Batman's painful trek through the sewer while suffering from wounds from the fight. His wanderings and struggling are interspersed with flashbacks to his world travels. Instead of focusing on his fight training and detective work, like most writers would, this segment focuses on medical training and pain resistance. It's a very welcome change of pace.

: Back in 2008, DC released their third original animated movie. Gotham Knight, which exists in a similar-but-not-identical continuity to the Nolanverse, was the first original animated Batman movie. It's an anthology of six segments, each directed by a different director and each animated in a different style, although they're supposed to work together as a whole. Oh, and it's all done in anime. The idea's a bit cliche, but admittedly, Pratt is just so endearingly awkward that it manages to redeem this otherwise worn-out scene.

: The two not-lovers then head back to the bar to break up a fight between Rocket and Drax. Rocket definitely breaks the rule of 'show don't tell' in this scene, spilling out many of his own insecurities, but the scene still feels mostly legitimate since he's drunk. ....which we mostly know because Quill told us so.

They're clearly skilled, but they have a tendency of making mistakes and getting in their own way.
