Only thing I have for the 'where's the hole in the hoof going to end up' is 'slow growing hooves'.
Right now, there's like this pale line just below the fetlock line and the hole is like, just below that.
Eventually it'll get to where ya put it though. And then we'll have to see what HB does then, eh?

I wouldn't say I know her. I do adore her art and have commissioned her before though and have been lucky to receive some random sketches. I found you originally through her I think.

If HB's hooves grow the same way as they do on the horses in this world, the hole should be steadily making its way to the bottom of her hoof - I don't envy her the experience once it does :) gets me off the hook for its placement anyway!

Ermergerds, you know Twiggy Doodle. I thought I saw some influences there. Still, your style is different. And I love the little touches.

Like how you actually got the hole in the right hoof. On the right side. It could be up a bit more, but this is still awesome.
And I love how you have little black splashes off the mark that make it look like the thing is trying to escape her flanks.

Like it's a living creature adhered to her backside that has had to put itself back together...
