Some of them start off as natural-born queens (How this is I do not know) and some become queens after proving themselves worthy. Some also are forced into being queen, but that rarely happens. Chrysalis was a natural-born while I proved myself to the changelings.

386094 I'm not sure what goes through Chrysalis's mind at all. Honestly, I wish I did know why she made all the changelings do so. I wish I could ask her, but we're not what you'd consider 'friends'.
