For far too long, Twilight has kept her love for Rainbow Dash hidden, exploring it only in her dreams. Today will be different though; today she will tell Rainbow how she feels no matter what! But how will Rainbow react?
"even an unprotected flight through space would be perfectly plausible, though quite painful."
I don't think she'd be able to survive her blood boiling, her skin melting, and her breath being forcefully sucked out all at once. I know I completely missed the point here, but... y'know.
2403134 Firstly yes the air would be forced out of her lungs but its already been shown that having no air doesn't matter to an alicorn.
Secondly what gave you the idea that her skin would melt, she would get a very bad sun burn since there would be no atmosphere or magnetic field protecting her from the suns radiation, but... magic? also sun cream is a thing.
Thirdly if she had a cut and blood left her body yes that blood would boil, but the blood that is inside your body is very conveniently kept inside a pressurised system so there is no need to worry about that
Yes the unfortunate curse of being a princess of these lands. Absolute immortality, meaning they are forced to watch their loved ones slowly wither and die, hopefully of old age, over and over again soon making them long for the kind hand of death, whom shall never come to alleviate the heaviest of burdens.
I had this in my watch list for a while, thinking it was just another clopfic I could get to anytime. How wrong I was! This is going to be amazing, I can tell! I love stories that incorporate sex and love so deeply into the story
The only thing that irks me, is your representation of Alicorns. My usual headcanon usually goes in the ways of their just slightly more magically powerful than regular unicorns, and even Celestia and Luna's lifespans aren't exactly natural of their kind. But you've practically made them death immune gods. Definitely nothing wrong there, its just going to be a little jarring for me.
Oh, who was she kidding? She never would have gotten around to asking Rainbow Dash out. As a friend, Rainbow was easy to talk to. They loved spending time together, they felt the same way about a surprisingly large number of things, and Rainbow was really getting into literature lately. Every couple of weeks, they would get together in the library and write a few pages for a novel they were co-authoring.
I appreciate the fact that you said “literature”, resisting the temptation to have Rainbow only read Daring Do for the rest of her life. So many authors seem to think that’s just a quirky bit of characterization rather than a cruel and unusual intellectual fate for the poor pegasus.

Ebullisms do happen, and air is vented from the lungs, but the 'flesh melting/freezing/exploding' thing is a persistent misconception.
Also: MAGIC. Magic? Magic.

If you are still unsure this video explains things pretty well:

Regardless, this is going to be so awesome.
