Oh dear, is it the would-be murders of Rarity? Or something entirely new to deal with?
Oh brother, is Celestia going to become a nasty bitch in here again?
And it was disappointing too, with how well their first meeting goes. And now, Celestia just gets unnecessarily upset about his true identity? Some "friend".
Because, I still don't get why/how her and even her goddess mother have a problem with him having followers of voodoo practice?
( Speaking about "Mother" Faust. I appreciate that you actually have Kalfu mentioned about his "meeting" with her to Celestia anyways, thanks. )
I mean, didn't Zecora and possibly other Zebras in MLP Africa have their own magical practice that is similar to Voodoo, and I didn't see either Celestia/Luna or Faust have a big issue with that?
And shouldn't Celestia be freaking grateful that those same "followers" were the ones that actually saved her and her mountain top-capital city from the Changelings, remember?
And Kalfu is right about owning him for reviving Rarity and didn't jeopardize Equestria's overreliance of the elements.
And another topic;
Why is she still caring about those nasty nobles that is now maybe a month ago, they had it coming anyways.
So WHY is she still "defending" those child/foal-murdering monsters!!??

She isn't going to benasty towards him for the sake of it. She is just afraid that she is going to lose all control of her subjects and he isnt even lifting a finger to make it happen. She can't touch him. And it burns her. But, she has no real issue with him as a person.
And she isnt protecting the nibles. She is just upset that the law and her authority is being sidestepped and avoided by this outsider.
great chapter but i do hope celestia does get along with him at some point

Well, there's also the whole issue of him being a foreign god moving in on Celestia's and Faust's turf. That always tends to cause some major friction, just look at D&D's Planescape and Spelljammer settings where different world settings can interact. The contact between the pantheons of different worlds can get...messy. Even with a few multiplanar gods that exist in multiple worlds at the same time acting as mediators.
Will Twilight be grateful that Rarity alive or no. How will they interact one another again

She and Faust should be chilled by the fact that he isn't a conqueror or a malevolent god or anything bad. Just don't piss him off or hurt his personal family/friends, and everything's cool.
As for noble couple, they still had it coming.
Plus, the fact that it was the spirits/ghosts of the kids/foals themselves that went to him first, NOT her or Luna specifically for divine justice.
It should give her a dang hint on who they really prefer to receive their own vengeance/justice.
How does Luna or Cadence react to all of this?

Well, I don't see either Faust or Celestia talk to the Voodoo Gods/Goddesses that gifted Kalfu with his godly powers, and send him to Equis/Equestria with this neutral mission to spread their religion in the first place?
We didn't see any pantheon meeting between the Alicorns and the Voodoo Gods/Goddesses concerning about this "turf" issue.
Isn't it more responsible and rather respectful for the Voodoo Pantheon to set up this meeting to the MLP "Pantheon"/Alicorn Royalty first, before sending someone "foreign" onto their world?

Considering that he has taken the role of judge, jury, an executioner at least once now, she has some right to be made about the law being potentially broken here.
His powers lend pretty well to these roles, even if Celestia doesn't know that yet. He can see a living persons sins and misdeeds on their soul, just not what they are. Can speak with the dead and certain animals to find out more about them and potential murders from the victims own dead spectral mouth. He's an almost perfect judge and jury with his powers, and now has his followers as the executioners. I'm all but certain it's this last part Celestia has a problem with, the law being taken in the hands of someone that isn't her.
I hope Luna still likes him because he has a tendency to target evil, so far anyway. If either of them were smart they'd make a deal with him so that he'd act more in their favor. I have a feeling that if either of them did, it'd be Luna. At least at this point in time.
Sorry if my comment feels a little all over the place.

Well, there is no "meet up before moving into a new world to negotiate a place" in the D&D way of things. The D&D pantheons "turf issues" only go to negotiations if the intruding deities already managed to get a toe-hold and a support structure that can't be easily uprooted. Otherwise the "issue" is dealt with by catching the intruding pantheon and expelling them before they can ever set up shop period, or a good old fashioned holy purge to destroy all evidence of the new religion before it spreads too far to cleanse. Though thankfully for the D&D multiverse the deities/pantheons that go around gaining power by poaching worshipers on other worlds are a miniscule minority, but it doesn't mean that they'd all be opposed to moving into a new world where there aren't any deities associated to their spheres to compete with (Like, say, not having any gods associated with the things the Voodoo gods are). Under that system, now that Kafka and the Voodoo gods are fully entrenched there really is jack-all that can be done about it. They'd have had to have caught and expelled Kafka the second he stepped foot on their world with the intent to spread a new faith. Of course, the local deities are more trusting and willing to give newcomers the benefit of the doubt, so they missed the that opportunity. And they're too peaceful for the "purge" idea to come to them before its too late to actually do anything (if it ever does).
No bet the issues the pony that wanted Rarity dead for whatever asinine reason they had.
