Same here. Dainn and his caribou are really starting to get my blood boiling.
11792728
Starting? He's had my blood boiling the minute I heard what he was doing.
I mean I like the idea of harems as much as the next guy, but this level of slavery and abuse is way too much.
11792765
I know what you mean. Even Lord Issei Hyoudou, despite being a perv and wanted to be a Harem Lord, would never approved of it. Ever. And that was a reference to High School DxD anime.
11792765
Finally, someone gets me on the caribou hating. Especially on Dainn.
11792847
I wouldn't say I'm a caribou hater, I just hate those who agree with Dainn's sick twisted ideas
11792863
Eh, close enough.
Looks like in this universe, Dainn’s son is fully grown. And he wanted Twlight as his bride, instead of his father wanting her when Celestia wasn’t able to sire him an heir.
It seems like Flavus, Vortigern, and Blueballs are practically one and the same here. In addition to being narcissistic, selfish, and cowards who’d flee and leave their men to die for them; Flavus and Blueblood are both traitors who sold out their people and their own family for power and wealth.
Sickening
Although Blueblood was supposed to be racist as well, and he seems to be the most pampered and spoiled compared to the others; he fits the stereotype of applied rich kid who hates to do things himself and get his hands dirty. It’s abit surprising that he didn’t react when Vortigern labels Equestrians as weak. Last we checked he saw caribou as an inferior race

I don't think he was paying attention. Too busy gloating that they managed to trap the rebels for a few short moments.
11793026
Heh, makes it that much easier to laugh or sneer at him

What about bad pony/traitor/noble hating? I'm not sure if, in either of the original stories, there was that much hating of the traitors and nobles/barons who profited off of the suffering of others, of the lower classes. But personally, I'd have liked to comment in on the punishments of the rich nobles who aided the stonehooves, if I hadn't found For Honor only after it was completed. Like the chapter where they caught the two nobles who stole Aj's farm and took away her family; the chapter where they did the blood eagle. Or the chapter where Shining Armor wiped out the baron who hated "those born in the lower class". Such populist, lower-class reprisals also include the capture and punishments of the stallion priest, Windrider, and Blueblood in the old For Honor

Like how much do those ponies get your blood boiling? If later, in another chapter, the allies capture such barons or nobles, would you/the rest of us, like to see them humiliated and severely punished? And rant about it here?
11793127
I mean, guys like this/these really tick me off, and make me wanna cut them down, or up, myself. Despite me not actually being violent in real life, or course. Who else here could say the same~?
11793127
Anyone who aided Dainn and or agreed with his ideals is deserving of SEVERE punishment in my book, regardless of whether they inflicted actual harm on others or just profited from they're suffering.
11793217
Well yes, that as well. But anyone who agreed or aided Dainn would've also harmed and profited off of others. Because anyone who follows and agrees with him would inevitably benefit. Those who were on his side would've ended up raping or harming mares and or, anyone else who disagreed with them. They would've helped him subjugate and instill fear into the citizens; by making Dainn appear more powerful and more popular than he actually was.
Like in most totalitarian regimes; such as Nazi Germany or North Korea, everyone has to appear happy and in agreement with the regime's activities, and celebrate festivals or events hosted by the government. So in public, everyone is forced to appear on the dictator's side, so no one can be sure who actually disagrees with the dictator, and therefore everyone is too scared to speak up since they think they're the only ones. Like in the original, many ponies who hadn't fled, including ruling families, were too afraid to speak up so they lived in fear while they were forced to pretend that they were okay with all of that. Slaves and other citizens were too afraid to rebel as they thought everyone else wouldn't either. So those who agreed and aided him also ended up harming others in some way or form
And those who were on the stonehooves' side, would've profited as they could buy or sell slaves, and stolen property. And those who are loyal are often gifted slaves to rape, and they would take the wealth or income from those who suffered.
The nobles gave his empire financial aid, while the other stallions gave Dainn manpower and control. So agreeing with him or aiding him is the same as profiting from, and harming, others.
By the way, Valiant, before they can start to fully liberate entire big towns or villages, they'll end up bringing the entire population of the town with them, right? Cuz until the resistance reaches a certain point, like by the time they took major cities and villages in the original; when they've secured areas of control, they'd have to bring everyone with them, as they couldn't leave without Dainn coming back to recapture the villages and everyone in them, straight away.
In the original, thousands of villagers had to travel with the rest of the army, right?
11793269
hundreds actually
11793376
Hundred of villagers? Every time?
11793378
gotta remember, some were either too scared to leave or too brainwashed
11793384
What about by the time the Great Rebel Army had grown powerful enough to seize swaths of territory and inspired others to rebel? And in the chapter where they broke camp and moved south?
11793680
I admit, I was sloppy in the details
11793687
Well I dunno, but I still loved that story nonetheless; I’ve still been thinking of how to describe it. Like, something about the way the whole story was written was special. Maybe it focused on some details and not others? I think I talked about that in previous comments here, months ago.
I also noticed that in GoT it was also still written in the same way until about the chapters that were rewritten. For the first several chapters it was still like For Honor, but by the time maybe 3-4-5 chapters were rewritten, something changed. But I still can’t fully describe what…
Nice work as always and a good way for the Rebels to meet the Crystal Empire forces and great way for them to band together and start a new bond of brothers in arms at the end. Well Red Hare is dead finally and that was a pretty good fight there
