I feel sad for both Thorax & Snow.
One is a kind being that hasn't lived very much outside of his home, where he is considered now a traitor, while on the outside, he is considered a monster.
While the other, is a man that is lost from his own world, his own body & is trying to come on term with events of his past that events currently are always reminding him.
I hope in the end they both find their happiness.
Now that you've established Jon's new body as that of child - or at least pre-teen by dragon standards - I'm eagerly awaiting the conversations between characters about how the way he talks and acts is just directly against everything they see as normal because I love scenes like that when they're well written.
These two are such a dynamic duo lol

I might object to calling Snow a 'man.' By Westeros standards, sure, sixteen is young, but old enough to marry and be considered an adult. Ned led a rebellion at fourteen. Robb Stark the Young Wolf was fourteen. For the record, Spike is fourteen, about to turn fifteen, and he's a chubby little dragonling far shorter than Jon.
By any reasonable standard, Jon's a teenager. Thorax might be sheltered, but even he knows that sixteen is far too young to be nonchalantly carrying a sword and living out in the wild. For a dragon, that's absurdly young to be out in the world. Thorax doesn't want to know more because that just makes him feel worse about draining a child to stay alive.

Yeah I kinda forget how young they all are on the books than how they are on the show. I always have him in my mind basically as the age of 21-22 (at the time of the his last events at castle black) & 25-28 at the rest of the seasons.
Those poor Crystal Ponies. Melissaandre is going to have way too much fun.
I haven't said much about this story, so Im going to write a few words . I'm not a fan of Game of Thrones. Never read the novels or watched the show. Although I did get a kick out the youtube video "The Best of Tyrion Lannister" a compilation of the characters best comments.
That being said, I'm liking the story. The first chapter is a bit clunky, but the story cleans up pretty well after that. I haven't felt lost at all, so the story telling is pretty good at giving the information when we need it. All in all, Im happy that you're writing this.
Keep up the good work.

How fantastic!
You have done a good job so far in showing the readers what they need to know without just expo dumping everything out. The only exception was perhaps the first chapter… and those are often rough. My current worry is that there has been quite a lot of perspective hoping, and reading it straight through as I did felt ever so slightly disjointed (though this could easily be attributed to it being the beginning of the story… getting all the threads in the weave as it were).
In any case, you have done a great job and I am eagerly anticipating what you bring us next!
