Far Away from the Glittering City

I move on from the city life
So I can start anew, in the new light
On the right track, staying on the positive lane
Or the railroad within the Friendship Express train

From the city of Manehattan, to the town of Ponyville
From the city lights, to the shining stars I see on top the hill
City has what the town don't
Town has what the city won't

Big differences between the two
Both will treat you kind and/or blue
Different communities, but great opportunities
I love Ponyville, far away from the glittering city

Author's Note:

I'm sorry that it's short, but I hope y'all like it. I was listening to the theme song from an old anime Captain Future. The song's called Far Away from the Glittering Galaxy. The song came in my head, so I thought of the words. There's more rhyming poems and/or songs to come in this rhyming story. Until the next chapter, Deuce!

What’s the difference between a city and town?

In the city, you don't see many stars, cuz of the lights. Some towns have lights, but you can see the stars better, since towns don't have many lights like the city. That's my opinion.
