All Wave and her friends want to do is colonize Equestria, rapidly build up a post-scarcity society with a population of a few billion, and use it to spread onwards through the galaxy. Luna is not amused.
Huh. The idea of Equestria being a bunch of regressed posthumans actually kind of works. Not sure if it's true or not—the Tree of Harmony might well be the surface level extrusion of a truly massive warp crystal—but it's definite food for thought.
Also, zero-G sex is terrible. If you’ve never tried it, don’t.
Fluids everywhere.
“I have breasts!” they – I mean, I guess ‘she’ – shouted at me, before shoving them in my face.
But she's a bird... Ugh, this may actually be support for the posthuman hypothesis.
So why the fuck did being her ‘bitch’ cost me -5 REP?
Eh, karma systems are usually pretty arbitrary.
The world had seen disaster after civilization-ending disaster, and each of them left artifacts behind in scattered ruins.
Not every civilization is lucky enough to have a band of plucky protagonists in their time of need.
“I think we might actually win this,” I said, looking up at Polly, just in time to see a massive crossbow bolt shunk into her forehead from above.
Might as well say you're invincible.
This has been quite the adventure thus far. Though if Luna ever finds out about Kobold Island... Oh, that won't be pretty at all.
I like that the kobolds have a very gamer-like attitude towards violence, in the sense of "traps and combat are fun activities with friends". There's no real rancor in the story until the diamond dogs start killing parrots.
Poor Polly. ;__; I'm glad that Wave mourned for her. I like the kobold take on gender, too. Matches well with their post-human origins.
That tracks. Just getting the hitboxes to match the sprites is hard enough given the number of games that fail to do so non-deliberately.
The shark is made out of normal flesh. It's just that it's normal shark flesh instead of normal kobold flesh.
Another thing that's actually true, and anyone who disputes this can look up "cloaca" because that's what the hole is called.
