Lacy, a human from Earth wakes up in Equestria. Luckily ponies are welcoming and helpful and tries their best to get him home but that takes time. Worse thing is that he's not completely himself. And the difference in culture can also cause problems.

So is that a no you wouldn't? Can you honestly say you wouldn't in his case? Saying you wouldn't is one thing, but actually following through is another.
Twilight you were the one to inform her. It's on you at least partially so who do you think you are to worry about it when you brought it to her attention. God take responsibility for your action.
Why did he cheer? You would think in his sour mood he wouldn't bother.
I'm confused what is his punishment exactly? I doubt he would just get completely off. Also is the whole depression arc going on, because it seems to have vanished in this chapter.
Wait, he has magic in his system but not what could allow him to use it and that somehow because plot caused Discord's deal to backfire. Unless there is a better answer down the road you were better off not giving us one since it's nonsense and it only being a guess in story doesn't help.
I'm calling it that AJ and Rainbow will be the hardest to convince

She does take responsibility, and does her duty, but that doesn't mean she can't worry about what will happen.
It's more like going with the crowd.
Umm... Like earning their forgiveness and their trust back? The depression isn't over.

There will be more about it later in the story.
11268181
Yeah, it seems like a safe bet.

It just comes across as self righteous to me which pisses me off.
So, nothing and he gets off scot free. I am actually fine with it since too many Hie go this whole he did something wrong and must be punished cliché and I am happy for it not happening.
As for the depression, my issue with you moving on to Discord before it's resolve is getting worse and more blatant as it seems to vanish to deal with these other things. You really should have resolved it first as it's getting too convolved with it getting involved in this other crap.
Here's my opinion, boring. It's so boring that I fall asleep immediately. No offense man, I know you tried. But this was not enough. I hope that in the future you will be able to not only correct, but also turn history upside down.

I see. I don't know what you mean by turning history upside down, it's a rewrite, it will mostly follow the original story, but there will be changes and extras.
Another question just hit me. Is Lacy's beef with Applejack (If you can even call it that.) Involving his mother still a thing or has it been abandoned, since she has another more personal reason to be against him. Will it be brought up again or is it just going to mysteriously vanish like how it suddenly appeared with only one minor hint at it when they viewed his memories.

It's not forgotten, in the next chapter it will appear, that part is already written but that doesn't mean that it will come up in every chapter.
11281808
Ok, but you keep introducing new elements without resolving or even progressing the old ones that it sort of gave that impression. Neither of those seem to matter unless the story decides to bring it up again and harp on it, only for it to get ignored when it's time to focus on another one. It would be one thing if there is progress actual progress instead of a mention only for the resolution not to progress one iota, but now it has become too convoluted for me to follow. It's like Lacy and Applejack already has beef why give them another one without resolving the first one? Why this depression arc if it seems to be forgotten as he now has to earn their forgiveness? Is it hard or just unthinkable to actually finish plot threads before moving on to new ones?
According to the ponies’ philosophy, the buffalo were forgiven for endangering everypony’s life on the train because they felt bad. MC feels bad. Ergo, he has earned their forgiveness according to their own rules.
Seems like Celestia gave him a life sentence, because Applejack has shown herself to be unforgiving and refuses to give any grace. I worry for him; they might be driving him off the deep end.
