You have no concept of how much I fangirl squeed at seeing the title. Maybe authors get tired of having their works referenced after a while, but the first time around? Pretty great. Kinda like how I imagine Mark Twain would’ve reacted if he’d been around to hear Rush’s “Tom Sawyer.” Even if the song is only tangentially related, it’s still nice to know you’ve inspired someone. And for what it’s worth, I absolutely love the lyrics and want to see it set to music. Which I only now just realize you’ve provided. Disregard that.

I feel so bad bursting your bubble, but I came up with the title independently of your story and didn’t know your story existed until recently. I will be sure to read it though. Glad you enjoyed the song. I’m really sorry about that because you really did seem super excited.

I just liked the sound of paging Dr. sparkle in the song better than paging twilight sparkle and I justified it by saying she has a PhD in friendship.

Wow, the recording could use some polishing, but damn, you've got a way with songwriting. Are you trained in music? This is underappreciated.

Thank you! I agree, I am a great songwriter, but my problem is I’m not good at making a polished finished product which is why Equestria daily ignores most of my music submissions. I am doing a virtual piano concert tomorrow for LooneyCon which I will post a link for and I’m hoping it goes well and I can use it to audition for other conventions.

I don’t have sheet music for most of my songs but I do have chord charts which I’m happy to give you. Just let me know which ones you’re interested in and I can shoot you Google Drive links.
