Chapter 11: The Fight

"We need to get to Canterlot, now" Said Discord, he snapped his fingers

they were in Canterlot, it was just as chaotic as Ponyville

Discord looked around, he saw a draconequus in the air, except this one, had long white hair, and eyelashes, but of course, the draconequus also didn't have bushy eyebrows, it was quite obvious that this one was female, she also wore a necklace with a black jewel.

she turned around "DISCORD, there you are, I've been excited to see you again after you locked me up"

"I couldn't say the same" he growled

she pretended to pout"Aww,..why so glum?after all these years, I'd think that you would be HAPPY to see your baby sister"

"Okay,...I'M REALLY CONFUSED," said Pinkie

Discord sighed "Girls, Meet my younger sister; Eris

Eris appeared right next to the ponies

"And you must be Twilight Sparkle," she said pointing at the purple alicorn

"Applejack" she then pointed at the orange earth pony

"Rarity" she pointed at the white unicorn

"Rainbow Dash" she pointed at the blue pegasus

"Pinkie pie, who really freaks me out" she pointed at the pink earth pony who said"HEY"

"And lastly, your little marefriend" she said staring the yellow pegasus in the eyes "Fluttershy"

she smirked "Wise choice dissy, after all, I guess she is pretty cute"

"LEAVE HER ALONE YOU LITTLE-" shouted Discord and Rainbow in unison, until they realized they were saying the same thing,...there was an awkward silence

"Well, what do you know? you two finally agree on something" cackled Eris

"Shut up," said Rainbow

"Whatever, I've got better things to do anyway" said Eris as she disappeared cackling

"Question; am I really that annoying, or is that just Eris?" asked Discord looking at the others

"Both," said Rainbow Dash smirking, though it faded when Fluttershy glared at her

"We need to stop her," said Twilight

"But how darling?"

"We need to fight her," said Discord

He flew up to Eris,

"Eris, we challenge thee to a fight over Equestria" said Discord in the royal Canterlot voice

"fine, but you know no one talks like that anymore right?"

"I know,...I simply speak like this to annoy thee"

Eris growled, but she kept her grin

"Eris, until tomorrow, turn everything back to normal, then we'll start the fight"

"You really were an unfun sibling you know that?" sighed Eris snapping her fingers, everything turned back to normal

"Until tomorrow Dissy" she cackled yet again as she disappeared

Discord flew back down to the girls and sighed

"Ok, first of all,....good call Lulu, and second of all,...we need to get ready" Discord snapped his fingers and changed into a general's uniform

"Rainbow, go with Pinkie pie to every sweet store in ponyville and Canterlot, were gonna really need a lot of ammo for this weapon"

"I never thought I'd say this to you but, YES SIR" Rainbow said as she saluted, she grabbed Pinkie and zoomed back to Ponyville

Rarity raised her hoof "Can I make outfits for this fight?"

"Oh for th' love of-, RARITY this is a fight, we don't need a dress for this," said Applejack

"Actually, I like that idea, though Applejack, I want you to help Rarity to make these outfit wearable, useful, and fashionable" Discord whispered a few ideas into Applejack's ears,

Applejack grinned "Got it, come on Rarity," said Applejack running back to Ponyville, while Rarity was following

"Twilight, if there's anything Eris hates more than I do, it's making sense, and biology, use all of the facts about Astronomy, Biology, geography, History, and Science that you know, it'll weaken her against the fight"

Twilight nodded "I'll use spike to help me recite these facts"

Discord changed out of the outfit, when he felt something nuzzle his paw, he looked down and saw it was Fluttershy

"What about you?"

"I'll take care of Eris,....and I don't want you to fight,...I don't want to risk you getting hurt by my sister, please,......stay out of this fight" he said gently taking her hoof in his paw and claw, Fluttershy looked up at him and gave a sad smile, she embraced him, which he gladly returned.

The next day the six ponies walked up into Canterlot, they each wore a stretchy, sparkly wide-legged jumpsuit with puffy tee top sleeves, each a different color,
Rarity's was purple, Rainbow's was blue, Twilights was magenta, Applejack's was red, Pinkie's was orangeish yellow, and though she would not be fighting, Fluttershy's was green, they were wearing shoes that matched their jumpsuits, they each had one little knob on the front.

Discord appeared in front of him, it took all his willpower to not mention that Fluttershy looked cute in her outfit, he put a serious look,

"All right, Rainbow, do you have the ammo?"

"Does this answer your question?" said Rainbow gesturing to a bunch of enormous piles of candy, soda, sweets, power bars, energy drinks, and etc,

"Great job" he walked over to pinkie and looked her in the eyes

"Private Pinkie, are you willing to eat all of this, to save Equestria? do you think you'll be able to stomach all of these energy boosters, to stop a great evil?

"YES SIR, GENERAL DISCORD, I don't know if I've ever eaten this much much before, but It's a risk I'm willing to do, to save my friends and all of Equestria, plus this is a dream come true for me, but still,..if I don't make it out,.. tell Gummy and my family I love them,...especially Maud, I know she's my BIG sister, but I don't know what she'll do without me to be there for her, and, tell Cheese Sandwich to carry on my legacy, and I leave everything to my friends, But Dashie, I want you to have my party cannon" said Pinkie,

as she walked over to Rainbow Dash and gave her a hug, then she gave her other friends big hugs

"I'm ready," said Pinkie with a smile

"I'm proud of you privet,...by the way, did you bring your party cannon?"

"Bring it? I never leave without it" she said, bringing out her cannon

"Good, I have a feeling we're going to need it to stop Eris" Discord walked over to Applejack and Rarity

"Well, done Rarity and Applejack, did you add the necessities?"

"Darn tootin'," said Applejack

"And we look simply FABULOUS!!!" exclaimed Rarity

"Excellent" he walked over to Twilight

"Twilight, did you memorize those facts?"

"Does an octopus have three hearts? yes"

"Perfect" he slowly walked over to his beloved, kneeled down, and took her face in his paw and claw

"Now Fluttershy, this is the one thing I want most during this fight, please, just stay here, but if she comes after you, I want you to run, or fly as fast as you can, go into the castle if you have to,...just be safe"

after saying this, he gave her a soft kiss on the cheek, and let go of her head as he and the others ran into battle, Fluttershy watched them, after they were out of sight, Fluttershy put a hoof to the spot Discord's lips had touched her cheek, she started to feel warm inside.

Canterlot was chaos again, Eris looked down at the warriors below her, she flew down

"Time to start already Dissy? Very well" she said, a cane appeared in her hand

"Though I must warn you when it comes to games, I don't play fair" she hit him in the head with the object in her hand,

he rubbed his temple and pulled her hair and threw her, as she landed hard on the ground Pinkie cried "CHARGE"

Pinkie started to gobble down the sweets, Applejack started to hit her with Apples

Twilight walked up behind her and said

"A shrimp's heart is in its brain"

Eris started to feel queasy, she growled and kicked her, Pinkie tapped her on the shoulder while still eating her food, saying

"Hey Eris, I'm gonna stop you from taking over Equestria"

"And how do you plan on doing that, little pony?" asked Eris smirking

"By doing this," said Pinkie giving her party cannon a blow of confetti

"And what was the point of that?" asked Eris glaring, suddenly she felt a hoof hit her in the back of her head

"It's called a distraction," said Rainbow

Rarity and Applejack surrounded Eris, they both clicked their heels, and they both kicked her in the sides with their hind legs, Eris received an electric shock and fell, it one one of the features that the shoes had when the knob on their shoes was pushed, when Eris awoke, (which only took a few seconds) she was about to pounce.

Suddenly there was a yellow flash of light, Pinkie pie was floating in the air, she had turned gold, and the was a field of electricity sparking around her until it stopped, but there was a golden luminescent glow around her silhouette, she opened her eyes, which were now red

"Let's get this party started" she shouted as she charged at Eris, who ran

Twilight hit her with a blast while saying "A cockroach can survive 9 days without its head"

Eris gagged, she grabbed Twilight by the wings and threw her, then something hit her from behind, it was Discord

Eris hissed and pounced on him, luckily, Discord had kicked her off

"Nice try, BRAT," he said,

she was suddenly pinned down by Pinkie, who clicked her heels, and an entire pile of cupcakes appeared, Pinkie started shoving them into Eris's mouth, one by one, while she was swallowing them whole

"I hope you like them, their my secret recipe"

then Rainbow clicked her heels, which gave a sonic boost for five minutes, kicked her into the air, then flew up and used her hind legs to kick her down, Eris landed with a crash, while Twilight clicked her heels, a type of magic erupted from her mouth walked up to her and briefly stated in the smartest voice in Equestria; "Some hummingbirds weigh less than a penny" at this, Eris actually vomited on the ground.

Eris had started to panic, she was getting weaker, then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a yellow pegasus trying to fly away, she smirked and flew after her, Fluttershy looked behind her, she saw that Eris was gaining on her, Fluttershy speeded up

"You won't be able to fly much longer, Pegasus," said Eris snapping her fingers, an enormous gust of wind blew Fluttershy slightly to the side, but Fluttershy knew she had to be strong, to stay out of her evil clutches, so she flew over the wind, Eris saw this and said:

"For a wimpy little pegasus, you sure seem persistent"

"And for a sister you sure don't seem friendly," said another voice behind her, she turned around and saw Discord, who kicked her in the side,

"I thought you'd never hit a girl," said Eris, glaring at him, she then grabbed him and flew towards the castle, she then hit him against the wall, making a hole,

Celestia and luna looked at this, Celestia was the first one to say something

"Discord?"

"K.K, Lulu,...it's been a while," said Discord still battling against his sister

"Indeed," said Luna

"We thought you didn't do chaos in Equestria anymore," said Celestia, with a slightly stern look on her face

"It's not me K.K, it's Eris, my sister"

"Eris?' asked Luna

"You called, your majesty?" smirked Eris

"Discord, I know you were our friend, but how can we be sure to trust you?"

"Because he's telling the truth, Your highness," said a soft voice

Celestia looked down and saw Fluttershy gazing at her with the most pleading eyes she had ever seen

eventually, the sisters both nodded and motioned for Fluttershy to come in the castle, Fluttershy quickly flew in, Eris started to go after her, but Discord stopped her

"DON'T YOU LAY A FINGER ON THAT ANGEL!!!" he shouted, trying to knock her down

"Try and stop me" she pushed him off and flew inside the castle

Discord flew back up, he flew in after her and saw the princesses fighting her, Eris just laughed, she snapped her fingers, and they disappeared, she then flew towards Fluttershy

Discord snapped, he charged towards her, but he was too late, Eris was already holding Fluttershy in her grasp, he saw the elements of harmony on the ground, they were,.......broken, all the magic inside them, had vanished

"Not another move, or I'll kill her and send her to Tartarus, just like the princesses"

Discord did nothing

"But I'll spare her,.....if you give me all of your magic," she said with an evil grin

Discord had an angry look in his eyes, he'd never do that, but he couldn't let his Fluttershy go to Tartarus

"Tick tock" she smirked

Discord said nothing, then finally he did something he never did before, he walked up to Eris and said "Fine,....take my magic,...just don't hurt her"
Eris cackled as she dropped Fluttershy and started draining the magic from Discord, who looked weaker by the second, finally, he dropped to the ground, powerless, the girls ran into the castle just in time to see Discord fall,

"Well, I am in charge now, I have all the magic I could ever need, so think it's only fair that you all bow to me," said Eris

the five girls forcefully by magic bowed

Eris cackled

Fluttershy looked at Discord, it looked as though he was done for, Fluttershy once scared, felt great anger

"How could you?" she said to Eris who looked at her confused

"HOW COULD YOU?, HOW DARE YOU? YOU STUPID, EVIL, UGLY, DUMB, LITTLE, SON OF A SATAN!!!" Fluttershy started to breathe quickly in anger, then it got faster, her eyes once teal turned red, then she completely snapped and her once calm and gentle eyes turned to fire and explosions

Eris looked at her, a frown on her face, her pupils shrank to the size of marbles

"Uhhh,........"

Fluttershy pounced on her and ripped her necklace off, she had noticed it had turn red when she took Discord's powers, so this had to be her source of power, she clicked her heels, her feet were now faster than Rainbow's

"COME BACK HERE" yelled Eris Fluttershy ran, she ran to the top of the steps, Eris appeared in front of her about to steal it back, then she threw it on the ground, and stepped on it crushing it, which caused a portal opened behind Eris

"Oops," she said her expression back to the one she had when Fluttershy was raging

"You won't need it anymore," said Fluttershy not a trace of pity in her expression, she then reared her hind legs and bucked Eris back into the portal, Eris let out one last scream as she fell in,

Fluttershy panted, she was finally gone.

It's nice, though a lot of the story seemed kinda rushed. It needed more time for development, and the part with Eris seemed kinda sudden, and there wasn't really any build up or foreshadowing of her existence. In short, you've had some good chapters and concepts, but I think next time you should try to take more time to develop the story and build up any key plots or villains.
