Chapter 9: WHY?

Discord spent the rest of his day doing nothing, but humming merrily, and surprisingly, doing good deeds, he first visited Twilight

"Greetings Twilight, do tell me, are you shelving books? are you studying? are you organizing?"

Twilight was annoyed at his antics but she answered him anyway

"Organizing," she said calmly

"Organizing what?"

"Books"

"Alphebaticly, or by the dates you got them?"

"Alphebaticly," she said her temper rising

"Here I'll help," he said

"NOO!!!!" Twilight yelled trying to stop him, the last time he was over, he disorganized them, but it was too late, he already snapped his fingers

Twilight Growled in frustration

"DISCORD!!!, It takes forever to move to the next Section, , I was on B!!! now I'm gonna have to start all over"

Twilight was about to use her magic when she saw the books,

they were all ordered perfectly in alphabetical order, she rubbed her eyes, but nothing changed

"You,.....You actually organized them correctly" Twilight said hastily

"Of course, isn't that what friends do for each other?" he said his face still the same

"Yes" Twilight turned around, she had a small but genuine smile on her face "Thank you Discord"

"My pleasure Twilight, if you need anything, just use this spell to summon me, " he said giving her a scroll

"You need your friends of course and the elements of harmony, but it's actually quite easy, ta-ta" he said, the snapped his fingers and he was gone with a flash of light

Twilight stood there in shock, 'that was weird', she thought

She reared her hind legs and bucked the tree, apples fell from them into the baskets, there were still a lot more to go though, Applejack sighed and went to the next tree when she saw an apple on the ground, she picked it up and looked at it, suddenly, the apple sprouted yellow eyes with red irises

"WOAH NELLY" Applejack exclaimed dropping the apple, that soon took the form of Discord

"Hello Applejack, ORange you glad to see me?" he laugh gleefully at his joke

"DISCORD!! what in th' hay are ya doing here?" Applejack said Sternly

"Well, I thought, why not visit my good cowfilly friend?"

"That's mighty nice of ya...... I guess" she muttered the last part "But Ah'm real busy, ah ain't got th' time for games," she said walking over to the trees

"You know what? I have an Idea" said Discord with a smile, he snapped his fingers, all the trees in the orchard were in two rows, next to each other, Applejack appeared was in front of them, fuming

"DISCORD!!!" she yelled

"Try apple-bucking the first two trees and then see what happens," he said

Applejack sighed, she turned around reared her hind legs and bucked the first two trees, which made the other trees drop apples into baskets, Applejack couldn't believe it,.....she had harvested the entire orchard with just one hit.

"Wow,.....it worked, ah never thought ah'd say this but, thank ya Discord"

"No problem A.J" said Discord he snapped his fingers, and the trees went back into place

"Next time you need to harvest Apples, just tell me, so long" Discord then left with a flash of light

Applejack thought 'huh, Discord's not actin' like himself, oh well, maybe ah can visit Rarity and we can go o the spa'

Twilight walked over to Rarity's but when she saw the sign, "Closed" Twilight wasn't surprised since it was night, but wrote a note that said:

Dear Rarity, is it me, or has Discord been
acting,......unusual? he won't tell us why, but
that's discord, but seriously, this is starting
to freak me out, the other day Discord had
come to my castle, and he actually got me
a FLOWER CROWN!!!!! but anyways, I hope
that your doing good,

Twilight Sparkle

once Twilight left a figure crawled out of the shadows and read the sign, the figure glared

"blech,....oh well, no matter, once I take over Equestria, I'll dispose of him,...and his new friends"

Twilight walked out the next morning, she saw a terrifying sight, Discord had done it, he made ponyville,....chaos, twilight ran inside and used her magic to summon the girls outside,

"what's going on?" asked Rainbow looking around

"I don't know" replied twilight "I've never seen this much chaos in one place, and I can't seem to ward it off with my magic"

"The trees are fallin' down because of the size of the apples in Sweet Apple Acres," said Applejack

"I can't keep my cupcakes in my hooves" complained Pinkie

Fluttershy walked towards the group, she had tears in her eyes

"Fluttershy, what's wrong?" asked Rarity in concern

"I,..........I-I think I know who's causing this"

"WHO?" the others asked in unison

Fluttershy looked at the ground, she couldn't believe it,....her best friend betrayed her,...or was he even her friend at all,...he was just using her to take over Equestria, her heart ached at the thought,....no matter how much she wanted to be angry at him,...she couldn't, she was kind,.....she had wanted his friendship,.......and though she'd really hate to admit it to her friends,.....she had slightly wanted to be more than that,.........but now she knew,..............that he wouldn't love her, it just seemed that he only loved chaos, and chaos alone.

I feel sad for writing this chapter, but if there was no obstacle, it wouldn't be a good story
