Assassination of the Minotaur President

I was on my throne, thinking about how to make the war against the Minotaurs much less….resistant. I began to think, what if I target the President of the Minotaur Empire. But there has to involve money or maybe…

“Adjutant!” I shouted

Adjutant arrived to me and kneels.

Adjutant said “Yes, master?”

“Remember that assassin droid we managed to capture when the Empire came to Equestria?” I asked

Adjutant replied “Yes master.”

“Reprogram him and send him to me. I have a mission for him.”

Adjutant nods and left the room. I began to think about the Assassination and I felt my medallion purring to the much thought. I couldn’t help but smile evilly and my eyes glowed purple.

Later…

I continue to sit on my throne, waiting for my Assassin to come. Finally, the doors opened and a droid called IG-88 came in with his Sniper Rifle.

“Ah, IG-88. Welcome to the Throne Room.” I said.

IG-88 said “What is my target, my liege?”

I smiled and nodded, knowing he wants to get straight to the point.

“I need you to head to the Minotaur Empire’s Capital. There, I want you to assassinate the President there. Then, I want you to target the Counsel men there as well. As soon as you finished, return to the Capital and Iron Will can further the progress there. Do you understand?”

IG-88 said “Targets acknowledged. Starting the mission, now.”

“Good luck and good hunting.”

IG-88 left to begin his mission. As he left, I couldn’t help but smile evilly.

A Minotaur Cargo Ship lands on the platform and IG-88 jumped off from the Landing Gear. He had his black case with him and 2 blasters on his sides. He began to walk into the city. Many civilians looked at him and were either scared or curious, but that didn’t bother IG-88. However, he was stopped when a Minotaur came up to him.

Minotaur said “Hello droid. What do you have in there?”

IG-88 replied “None of your business, meatbag.”

Minotaur demand “What was that!?”

The Minotaur snapped his fingers and a gang of Minotaurs came out, holding melee weapons.

Gang Leader said “Not so tough, aren’t you?”

IG-88 said “I take it back.”

Gang Leader said, cocky now “Like every droid is.”

IG-88 corrected himself “No, I mean I’m happy you came along. Now I can show you when you dare cross me.”

Before they could react, IG-88 grabbed his blasters and began to spin his upper body while his arms were out and pulling the trigger. After several seconds, he stopped and the Minotaur Gang Members and Leader fell to the ground, dead. IG-88 put his two blasters to their proper position and began to walk off, like he didn’t care for the bodies.

Business Minotaur asked “Why would you need a rental ComfortRide passenger airspeeder?”

IG-88 stated, not giving any reason whatsoever “My personal business only.”

Business Minotaur replied “Oh well, if that is what you want. Well, it will be 30 bits.”

IG-88 hands the bag of bits to him and left on the ComfortRide passenger airspeeder. He began to fly it towards the main Palace where today, the President is going to be escorted to his transport ship.

The Minotaur President and his Counsel was half way to the transport ship.

President said fearfully “We must escape the Capital and flee to the lands of the Zebras.”

1 of the Counsel Man said “Sir, we have nothing to fear.”

President replied “You don’t but I feel so unsecure here in my own palace.”

A Guard said “We have cleared the way to your transport. All Civilians have been moved away.”

President said, happily “Excellent!”

They were in the open now. There was a large crowd of minotaur civilians, all asking questions. They were about halfway until there was a blaster fire and the President was shot square to the chest. There was a panic of fear and everyone hit the deck. Another Blaster shot and it hit a Guard, killing him. There were screaming, a lot of it.

Guard Captain warned “Sniper!”

Another shot killed another guard. The Guards took cover and began to fire where the Sniper was at. However, another shot and the Captain was down. After a few minutes of shooting, the guards and Counsel men were killed. The people looked and see a ComfortRide passenger airspeeder leaving the scene at a high speed.

A few minutes before…

IG-88 was driving his ComfortRide passenger airspeeder to a hidden spot where he could hide in the shadows. He opened the black case and saw parts for a Sniper Rifle. He began to put the parts together, creating the sniper rifle. When he finished, he activated his laser pointer eye and began to take aim. After a few minutes, the main target, the President, came into view. He took aim and pulled the trigger, causing the sniper shot sound to go off. The civilians took to the ground as did the guards and the rest of the guard. 1 by 1, he took down guards and Counsel Men and when he finished, he put away the sniper rifle into parts and took off when he began to hear sirens nearby. IG-88 made it back to the Business Man and left the Airspeeder there. He left with his case and began to walk back to the landing platform where a Fighter was waiting for him to steal. He took it and began to return to the Griffin Capital, leaving the Minotaur Capital in pure Chaos, Corruption, and Fear.

I was waiting patiently for my droid to return and after a few short days, he came back.

“So, how did it go?” I asked curiously.

IG-88 anwered “The Capital is in terror now. Without the President, they are leaderless.”

“Then it is our time to strike. You did well IG-88. Return to your quarters and charge up from your job.”

IG-88 said “Yes master. That is the most logical course of action now.”

IG-88 left to his quarters, leaving me to sit on the throne and summoning Iron Will and my medallion, purring with pleasure of the dark and evil thoughts. I smiled evilly, knowing that I’m growing stronger to the dark side.

Meanwhile with Charming Thunder…

He was resting about, thinking about his wonderful life with his new wife and family. However, it was short lived when he began to stir with dark thoughts. He felt something dark and twisted, growing ever stronger and stronger. He woke up in a scream and Twilight, who was next to him, got up instantly.

Twilight asked, concern “Are you ok Charming?”

Charming replied, reassuring her “I…I just had a bad dream, that’s all.”

Twilight asked again “Are you sure? It sounded awfully real.”

Charming said “Yes, I’m sure.”

Twilight wanted to help Charming so she kissed him. Charming kissed back and they laid on the bed, kissing. However, while he had his eyes closed, if he had seen it with his own eyes, Twilight’s eyes flashed Cyan for a second and back to normal. Inside Twilight’s mind, somewhere in Zerus, Dusk was laughing as she could control Twilight’s love emotions to Charming Thunder.

Dusk says in the back of Twilight's Mind "That's right Charming, fall for the lust. While you do that, I'll grow even stronger! Soon, my father will see you again and this time, you will be powerless to stop him."

Charming and Twilight embrace deeper with each other, leaving Dusk to watch this through Twilight.
