Dear Journal,
God damn it why would this be so hard?! If I had to kill Leon, I would! It would suck, but I would do it easily. Hell, even Sheila. This kid has been nothing but a nuisance to me the whole time we've been together, so why would it be so hard?
I suppose it has something to do with how he seems to care for me a lot. That kid's nigh intolerable, don't get me wrong. It's nice to be genuinely cared for though. God I gave my parents so much hell when they were still here, and they did nothing but love me. What kind of daughter was I? I miss them. I miss them so much. Those little kisses on the cheek they gave me every night before bed? I hated them so much. Now I find myself awake at night waiting for them to do it again.
Stop getting distracted! I... I have nothing more to say.
- Martha
Dear Journal,
Jamie approached me today with a strange question. He asked me to clarify that I "knew animals," which of course I said yes to. He then asked me what it means to "put an animal down?" Of course I told him it means to kill it, and he reacted strangely. I asked him where he heard that term, and he said he overheard Leon and Martha talking about it, and then sulked off. I wonder what's up with him?
- Sheila
.... Is it just me, or are Leon and Martha overreacting? Because they're thinking about killing a thirteen year old for overreacting during a high stress situation when something was trying to kill him.
... Okay author, can you REALLY defend the conversation these two were having right now? Nevermind that Jamie heard it, keep in mind we don't really know the master plan here, at this point they are talking about putting down a kid like an animal, it's said there black and white!
Seriously this is messed up, no sane person would jump to this solution, if not mentally unstable, they are running their emotional centers into the ground, they aren't stable emotionally to make a proper judgement about this! There's a difference.

Need I remind you what happened LAST TIME an insane person entered their midst? They don't have enough people to keep a jail for him, and letting him free could cause harm.
Believe me, I think you two don't realize not only how hesitant they are to do it, but also how serious it'd have to be for them TO do it. He'd have to be a danger to those around him. In which case, I agree with their idea. Now Poison, you brought up EMOTIONALLY unstable. And you know what? Here you are right. Last time a mentally unsound person came near them, Leon lost his best (and only) friend. Nevermind it's a kid, Leon's scared.
Now Martha is a different story. She does what has to be done, and you've already commented on her philosophy. It's dark and pessimistic. If it wasn't for the fact that Jamie really cared for her, she would have no qualms. Not enough to make her question it anyway.

Alright then... I hope they don't kill him.

Hmm... glad that makes sense at least, sorry, but when peoples solutions, opinions and so on don't make sense, I need to question whenever they are for real.
6206768 No problem at all! I'm the same way.
i dont trust sheila she is nice anyone who is ever nice has always had some ulterior motive. always. thats why i am never nice. but nor am i mean. i am blunt i tell the truth about my opinion. destroy sheila.nevermind acting strange is not good enough reason.
