-facehoof- dammit Trixie!
Well, didn't expect the newest chapter so soon. Looks like things are developing a little quicker. Looks like we know who the antagonist is, though I got to say, I find it shocking that she, or rather her human counterpart, is capable of this. Anyway, it's pretty interesting that you've paired up Sweetie Belle with Diamond Tiara. Scootaloo and Bab Seed do make sense, given their personalities. And it looks like you're one of those that pairs Apple Bloom with that colt she met earlier in season six. Hopefully, she'll start coming around. As for Adaigo's plan and Fluttershy planning to confess, I get the feeling that neither will be needed if Rainbow is close to forgiveness as I think. Though I still think that Fluttershy needs to tell her for the good of their relationship.
Hoping the next chapter comes out soon!
Man, this is why Twilight didn't want you hanging out with Glim Glam. What the hell, Trixie?
I see a Trixie appearance. Either that or an unknown reason for Starlight Glimmer to be playing against them.
Ehn... I can't get behind Pinkie and the others somehow thinking RD is in the wrong for being angry at Adagio. Taking the video was a hugely douchey move, a massive invasion of privacy, not to mention illegal. Adagio isn't somehow owed forgiveness, and sure she's trying to turn things around and that's good, but RD could go her whole life without ever forgiving it and she'd have every right to do that. Victims don't have to make nice with the person who screwed them over and the other girls acting like RD is the problem and "bad" and suggesting she's somehow selfish because she was hurt by someone violating her privacy in a pretty bad way? Kinda messed up, poor girl needs to get some less insensitive arsehole friends.
Just look at the actual series itself -- it's never once even suggested that Sunset is owed forgiveness from the rest of the school during Rainbow Rocks. She, like anyone else, has to earn it and the victims aren't "bad" if they choose not to give it.

Listen Adagio was wrong to take the vidoe, she was muisguided and she regrets it., she deleted the video, but saddly it was taken and sent off before she was able to.
how i'm not sure, but ti was done.
Adagio deeply regrets what happened and been trying to fix things,s he put , her life, and even her sanity onthe line to catch who it was that nearly ruined Shy and Rainbow's life.
She already hates herself and trying to fix things, and same on Susnet she screwed up and did alot of terribel things.
she going to regret it forever, even years down the line she'll hate herself.
That's one of the reasons they desrve forginess, because they regret what they did, if they didn't care or stayed onthe dark path.
Then hell yeah they deserve to be hated and spat on, but they're not.
7562415
I didn't say she can't be deserving of forgiveness (which is what I think you're trying to say...?) I'm saying that a victim never owes it, and certainly shouldn't be shamed for not giving it.
Trixie, why didn't I guess her?! Ugh!!
7562366 Okay, let's talk about this for a minute. Believe it or not, on the whole of your point, I agree with you. RD shouldn't be shamed for not forgiving Adagio, and Adagio does not automatically deserve to be forgiven. Pinkie is the only one who's shamed Rainbow for not forgiving Adagio. The others haven't been trying to force her to forgive Adagio, they've just been trying to get Rainbow to keep from beating the shit out of her.
No one is trying to force Rainbow to forgive Adagio, far from it. They have all been encouraging her to, yes, but no one is trying to force her to. They have been a little irked by Rainbow's behavior so far, but let's face it, ever since the video was discovered she has been acting erratically. They haven't been angry at her for refusing to forgive Adagio, they've been angry at her for acting like a wild sociopath.
Pinkie has been shaming Rainbow for not forgiving Adagio, but she's feeling heartbroken and lost, she has no idea how to react to anything, and she's spiraling out of control just trying to keep her head on straight. She feels like she's breaking apart so, just like RD, she's lashing out any way that she can.
7562415 Now, on to your comment. You're absolutely correct on most of your points. Adagio (really anybody who messes up this badly) will never forgive themselves. That's exactly why she's working so hard to get everyone else to forgive her, because in their mind that means that maybe one day, they can forgive themselves. I still don't exactly think that a victim ever owes their attacker any forgiveness, but when they're doing everything in their power to make amends, and they're just met with an ass-kicking, then yeah, it's pretty messed up.
Still, I wouldn't exactly say that Adagio is owed any forgiveness. She doesn't think she's owed any, that's why she's trying so damn hard to earn forgiveness. She's already earned it from everyone else and it was easy, that's why she's willing to take any pain and sacrifice everything just to earn Rainbow's forgiveness and, in time, her friendship.
Thank you both for commenting though, there's nothing I like more than somebody who's actually thinking about the story and not just reading it, and thank you both for putting your thoughts in the comments. I really enjoy seeing what everyone thinks about what they're reading and I hope you both comment like this on more chapters in the future.
P.S. sorry if this was kinda long.

It's not long! I always appreciate thoughtful responses, especially from the author.
Yeah, I'm aware it was mostly Pinkie, but it just seems like the others aren't being as supportive as you'd expect? It's super IC for them to forgive and encourage forgiveness, but I also don't see how being legitimately upset is being an erratic sociopath I guess. I actually find RD's reaction very understanding, it makes a lot of sense (and for the record, I feel the same about Fluttershy given her character), so the part that's a bit ehn for me is that they wouldn't be understanding and supportive of that, but instead range from shaming to "irked". Feels like there's a disconnect between how serious the original offence was (like, that's a major violation -- you'd probably go to jail for that) and how some of the characters are treating it/RD's reaction to it.
Also surprised they're not shutting down the whole "let's get RD so mad she beats me up" plan. That is a terrible plan because RD would just feel awful about it after she calmed down and the dust settled, plus it'd probably turn her friends against her... so basically it'd hurt her way worse than before. I can see Adagio who is a beginner at this whole friendship thing not really figuring that out, but the others are kinda dropping the ball there. Catching the one spreading the vids was good, but goading her into assault? Not so much.
Those're just my 2 cents (not sure you want 'em, though... )

that what i wanted to say, Pinkie did lash out, but after hearing her story it's understandable, Pinkie faced the worst thing ina relationship her very first time!
She got a boyfriends who only used her for pleasure and his only, he hurt her and made sex horrible for her.
She'll never be able to be with a guy ever I bet, with Dash thakfully she was very gentle and showed her the postives of love making.
Thou was only a one time thing only, I figured Dash wanted to show her sex can be a wonderful thing, not a wham bam thank you sam, and quit crying i don't care it hurt you.
Pinkie wants a relationship where she and her partner are happy, ad love each other, seeing Sunset and Adagio who have such a thing as her frinds do and yet willing to goso far to try witht what they are doing to win Rainbow's forgivess mad her react badly, yes it was bad, but can you blame her.
She also felt terrible and apologized.
7564996 I'm glad you mentioned that, because I did have something else to say (I meant to put it in the AN but I forgot). I don't believe that all men are like this, but I've never encountered a man who was as tender and affectionate during sex as any woman. The most aggressive women can be the most gentle and passionate lovers. Rainbow wasn't showing Pinkie that kind of tenderness in any effort to fix her views on sex, that's just how love-making works for her.
Pinkie had a bad experience, and because of that it makes her desire for what Adagio and Sunset have that much stronger. Yes, as you said, it was wrong for her to lash out the way she did, but that's what people do when they're hurt. They lash out in one way or another.
7564637 They don't think that RD is being a sociopath because she's upset, they think she's being a sociopath because even before she found out who took the video she still screamed at Sunset and basically called her a slut, and punched Adagio, who was only looking out for Pinkie Pie, in the face. That's why they don't want her around Adagio, because now that she actually has a reason to be violent, they're worried about just how far she'll take it.
They aren't judging her for refusing to forgive Adagio, they're just scared for her sake. Also, nice guess, but her plan isn't exactly 'let's provoke Rainbow into kicking my ass' but good guess. The real plan will be in the spoiler box, but keep in mind this may not be how everything works out.
Adagio plans to get boxing gloves and protective gear and invite Rainbow to a friendly sparring match in the barn. She plans to explain that she's trying to let Rainbow vent her frustration and that she's willing to fight with RD until she feels better. Her hope is that Rainbow will agree and they can have a non-dangerous swapping of punches until she feels better. Fluttershy's fear is that she won't go for that plan and she'll be provoked into bare-fist fighting with Adagio, which will get her hurt. Of course, she'll never have a chance to do that if she's somehow stopped by our Great and Powerful antagonist. Still, so long as gloves and protective gear are worn, her friends expect that Rainbow won't be able to cause enough damage that she'll beat herself up afterwards.
Also, never say you're not sure if I want your 2 cents or not, because I do. Any input means the world to me, whether I agree with it or not, it's always great to see just what anyone who actually reads that garbage I write thinks about it and knowing you think it's not garbage (if you thought that you wouldn't care) means the world to me. I said a long time ago, if even one person is entertained by a story I write without asking me to change anything, then it's worth whatever time and trouble I put into it.

I suppose that's fair. While it still feels a bit like the seriousness of what everyone is going through is being downplayed a bit, I guess we can just chalk that up to a difference of opinions/to each his own thing :|a
I think what might be throwing me a bit is saying RD is acting like a "sociopath". A sociopath is literally a person with extreme antisocial behaviours and a lack of conscience/ability to empathize with others, kind of brings to mind the image of a cold calculating serial killer. Obviously you're not being literal with that description but even as an exaggeration it still seems... odd? To refer to it that way. Doesn't really fit, especially when Pinkie shows similar behaviour but gets off with a "lashing out" tag. That's just in discussion, mind you -- in the story I think they're both treated pretty equally, if I remember right.
Glad to hear your take on comments/discussion! That's an awesomely positive attitude and sadly rare to see in people (especially the internet), and I think it can only help you as you continue to put yourself out there creatively/artistically. Also there's the fact that I wouldn't say you're wrong about it
7569956 Well I'm glad you see it that way. Keep in mind, that (in my opinion) the difference between what Pinkie and Rainbow did, is that Pinkie immediately regretted acting like a jerk, but Rainbow doesn't regret it. She's completely convinced that she went about everything in the best way possible. Now, while I agree with you that she doesn't necessarily owe Adagio an apology, I would say that she at-least owes Sunset one, but she doesn't regret it. Rainbow is justified in not forgiving Adagio, however her first punch, and her outburst at Sunset were uncalled for. She doesn't see it that way, because she's hurt and angry and any girl in this situation would feel justified in any way they lashed out.
That's why I called her a raging sociopath, because at the moment she is being antisocial and she's not empathizing with others. Yes, that is an exaggeration on my part, but it fits in my mind. As an author, I try to be unbiased, but as a person that's how I would refer to someone acting that way. Now, in the last chapter, the little snippet of scene I set aside for RD wasn't just to break from the scene between Adagio and Fluttershy, it was to let the reader know that she's finally starting to act like a rational person again, who is capable of thinking past her own pain to see somebody else's. I can tell that you feel very strongly about how everyone is treating her and I promise that's going to ease up soon.

Gloves make a fight far more dangerous. They’re there to protect the hands and allow much harder punches to be thrown. You get more superficial cuts fighting bare knuckles but way fewer concussions.
