Chapter 17: Rescue

We exited Canterlot borders on the way to Ponyville Ruins I spoke to Calamity while we were overlooking the area I pulled out my rifle,

“How do you plan on doing this?” I asked Calamity spoke in a deep, dark tone

“Kill every bucking son of a bitch who stands in the way” I quickly responded

“You can`t be serious?, ok fine I give in i`ll get on a hilltop and take `em out one by one” Calamity responded

“Finally you see things how I do,” Calamity then pulled out his weapon and started to walk towards the encampment while I was running to a perfect position.

I rested on the rocks, my sniper rifle clutched in my arms I looked in the scope, I took a quick look around, Raiders, every where in several rooftops and ground infantry units, Calamity than began to open fire at the Raiders than I started to speak…

“Every now and then, I held my breath”

I held my breath

“Hunting in the shadows like a despised rat,” I fired a bullet into a Raider`s head

“Crawling in the catacombs,” I fired another bullet into a Raider`s head

“My bullets, holding the serpent`s venom poised within,” I fired another bullet into a Raider`s mouth

“Like a screaming eagle, raised your rifle is, take the shot” I fired one more bullet into a Raider`s torso,making him sputter with blood

“Creeping around distant places, your enemies are within, Hostile Down!” another bullet seeped into a Raider`s eye making it stream with blood

Calamity spoke over the radio “Okay they`re gone, area`s cleared” I held my breath and fired my last bullet in the chamber into a Raider`s skull who was hiding in a tower

“How about that one?” I asked Calamity responded,

“Eh, missed that one” I than got up holstering my rifle on my back and sprinting down the hill.

I met up with Calamity near a safe house “OK one, last, breach,” I got my pistol out and than kicked the door open, several Raider`s was in the house ready to engage I quickly slid around the corner and I looked down the sights I quickly fired bullets into each Raider`s heads, each one collapsing.

We examined the building, in one well hid area in the Conservatory a grey pony with darkened hair laid in a metal cage afraid and mortified of the Raider`s doing, Calamity than ran towards the cage

“Inky! I`m here don`t worry i`m here, come to get you out of here!” Inky then turned around

“Cal-Calamity! Is it really you?” Calamity replied

“Yes i`ts me! Full Moon get her out of this” I obliged and started to pick the lock, the lock opened and Inky broke out of the cage and her arms met Calamity`s I than walked to a wall crossed my legs and lowered my head

“I`m so glad to see you again!” Inky shouted without a care in the world

Calamity sharing the same expression, “And so am i! I love you so much!” they broke from their hug and looked into each other`s eyes Inky then said in a loving tone

“And I love you too!” with tears slowly streaming out of her eyes, and seeping out of Calamity`s

Calamity than placed his hooves on Inky`s shoulders, “Nothing`s happening to you now… I promise, All that time we`ve been apart, it`s torn my heart in two” he started to have more tears appear from his eyes clouding his vision slightly, Inky took over from there

“I love you too, the same thing happened here… I was pillaged by these animals. But know I feel no pain, you`re here and that`s what matters, no pony`s taking that away from us. Please can we go somewhere safe? So, we can be together” Calamity responded

“Yes, of course Inky,” He than turned to face me,

“Full Moon is there, anywhere, where we can be safe to spend our time together?” I responded

“Yeah, New Appleloosa. Where my family is, Applejack`s there as well so your safety is guaranteed, I can take you there,” Calamity nodded

“OK you lead.” He than grabbed his gear,

“C`mon Inky, Let`s get out of here,” Calamity then lifted Inky up and began to carry her as her legs were too weak to walk, I than opened the door and started my escort.

Sniper Elite V2 and Medal of Honor references in this chapter if you can spot them,
Also why not the pillaging? It happened to the little girl on Dead Island so why not here to?

Yeah my guy's starting to show not one bit of care, It happens to most people in the Wasteland,
